I love her energy on stage! Hope to see them one day. The audience in the end standing still (except front row) while the best dancing part comes on is hard to understand, I would loose my shit and jump, dance and cry happy tears probably!
They played at the Laneway Festival in Brisbane Australia earlier this year, and I'll tell you now, their live performance can't be done justice unless you're there to experience it.
Good performance, looks like they made some improvements in technical aspects of the voice: echoes, EQ and stuff. (It ould be also due to the recording, anyway, is just an impression)
The fact that Spin added their own effects and then took a shot of someones phone as it was taking a picture of the band sums up my hate for them pretty well.
Going to see them Oct 4th at Hollywood Forever Cemetery and I can't wait!! If anything I will be dancing my ass off. I hope my crowd will be better than these fuddy duddies.

+Farfy McDoogle Indie concerts, there are usually not much dancing. Most ppl go to these concerts cuz they enjoy the music not because they enjoy to dance. It'd be sorta like rocking out at a classical performance.

The whole idea behind a 'performance' is seeing/hearing humans actually do something, not listening to artificially made sounds. There style of music isn’t meant to sound super real it’s meant to have that strange airy echo-y type sound to it her voice is able to do it but they need echoing and reverb to try and at least emulate what they release in their albums
it occurs to me that she probably sang "Shape by the clearest blue" once and then they just looped it using technology. A good example is the comedian Reggie Watts, where this is his entire routine. Because it didn't sound like playback from the album version to me.
