I went to college in New Mexico and I can confirm their chiles are superior to all others in the US. Especially Colorado's. 😛 Can't comment on those south of the US. I love them in eggs, on cheeseburgers and on pizza. Too bad all I can get are canned ones with very little flavor here in upstate New York.

Washington here: our dispensaries have remained open throughout this whole shut down, for the most part. They just make you go in one at a time and everyone wears masks. It’s for good reason. We did start legalization by recognizing cannabis as a medical treatment. Medical treatments are at *least* as necessary as takeout from restaurants.

I have no doubt at all >90% of natives would vote and even volunteer funds to make a border wall to keep the Californians out.

Yeah except we don’t *hate* transplants per se (at least not the California ones), we’re just *annoyed* by their driving habits and the real estate companies that prey on them at our literal expense by gouging their prices at the first sign of a Californian household wanting to move in. Now, the Florida and Texas transplants are another story, or at least the ones not from Orlando or Austin respectively. In my scout troop there was this Texas transplant who JUST WOULDN’T SHUT UP about his state’s flag code and frustration that Alaska is bigger, and who would constantly bring up politics unprovoked and shit on everything our state stands for (in addition to telling us certain things about his love life that we *really* didn’t need to know). I was surprised he had friends in the troop, and felt so relieved when he said he was gonna move to Montana upon turning 18. Don’t move to a state if it’s the epitome of everything you stand against.
