I’ve watched a lot of these videos, and none of them actually explain very well all the things that you have to do. I wish someone could make a video for people that aren’t that experienced at doing this stuff, but still want to do it themselves.

All the videos say to make sure the lift pump is correctly orientated. How do we know it is. If we’re are installing this on another LML shouldn’t it be the same direction for the 5G 165.

It will mount exactly the same on any 11-16 LML Duramax. AirDog products are universally mountable meaning you can mount them however you would like as long as the pump is upright with the filters hanging down!

Was the driveshaft removed to do this?

What do you do with the old feed line?
Do you just leave the end open?

Will this lift pump fit with a S&B 68 gallon fuel tank?

Do you need draw straw on the fp-150 its older discontinued pump i bought brand new.On 2015 lml

Yes, you need to install the draw straw or some sort of high flow aftermarket straw or sump. Failure to do so will void the warranty of the fuel pump.
