I love my X-Carry. For my fellow civilians interested in owning this version it's very doable with a little extra investment, some of which you can recoup if you so chose. I bought the original X-Carry with the optic plate/rear sight. I really loved the grip, the trigger, the capacity(free state occupant here), the shooting experience and the accuracy. I slapped a Romeo 1 RDS on it but the lack of back up ironsight capability combined with my OCD kept me up at night and had me searching for a solution. Just as I began my quest it just so happened that Sig released the "pro cut" slide on their website. The compact size "'pro cut" slide is nearly identical to the slide in this video. The only difference is some additional, unnecessary lightning cuts however the optic plate cut is in front of the rear dovetail exactly as is the one displayed by this video. I bought it, only to discover that said optic cut did was not milled to receive the Romeo 1, instead it was cut to fit the Romeo Pro as well as the Delta Point Pro. Here's where the recoup comes in: I sold the original slide w/Romeo 1 and was able to add a few bucks and purchase the DPP. Add a set of Dawson Precision supressor height irons (the sig supressor height sights are too short) and you get the whole package. With the addition of the back up irons the firearm is now not only a joy to shoot, but IMHO trustworthy enough to for EDC status. Short story long, hopefully this novel that I just wrote helps to further inform any interested individuals as to some different possibilities in regards to this firearm. It really is a great gun.
I have the X Compact. Fits nicely in my hand and recoil and accuracy is as good as I would expect from any pistol that size. Only 2 round difference between Compact and Carry model.
I’ve been watching several review of this particular pistol and I have to say, this is one of the best reviews. Very honest and pragmatic. Congrats and keep doing it. Cheers
I have the same model only Coyote. It's so well balanced in the hand & with the long grip module, almost makes it too easy to shoot it accurately. Great trigger action. Bulky, but still concealable, giving you peace of mind you have plenty of rounds available.
Still one of my favorite carry guns. Really even better with an optic than the X-ray sights. Sig really missed on the sights being at least set for Romeo 1 cowitness. Still no factory front sight option for that.
I have the xcarry, not the pro model and I love it! I got the apex trigger/bar and also had my grip stippled by Danger Close Armament and it really is a great firearm
That mounting plate on the pro makes more sense than the P320-M17/M18. The screws on the outside instead of the inside of the slide where they could cause problems.
I love the p320 I have 6 of them in different configuration and calibers.I had one problem with one of the 9mms It was sent back to Sig. They extracter came apart it was fixed at no charge and back to me in less than a month. I have not had any others problems at all. Have probably 1000 plus rounds through all of them

X-Compact Pro is the better "Carry" choice. The pro version is being sold with an optic in the new RXP line. I've had mine for about 6 months with a Deltapoint Pro and X-RAY3 super tall sights. Excellent shooting pistol.

I have heard about those gas pedals. However, I would always say that when I mentioned the word recoil. A lot of people are thinking I meant significance recoil What I was trying to say was that my initial thoughts about this gun was that there would be very very little due to the size of the grip. I did not find that initially but was able to ultimately control better through proper grip
I completely agree, I think this firearm is a very soft shooter. When you mentioned the first couple of were pushed to the left, I has a similar experience. This firearm seems very slippery to me , when I add the peddle I could bare down and get pretty good grouping. Take care
@@96stealthYes, I have a tenicore and it fit just fine. Also once you select a holster, loosen the tension insert pistol and blow dry to reshape the holster. Let cool and now it should fit like a glove. Good luck !!
I am new to Sig and so far I'm impressed. My EDC is the P365 w/ manual safety. Fantastic pistol for is designated use. With that trigger, I would not have one without that "option". I only use it when I am holstering and immediately disengage it once in place. I know that is not mandatory, but that is my preference. As soon as Sig puts a manual safety on the P365 XL, I'll be getting that as well. Also, IMO this is better then the Hellcat. The Hellcat is very nice, but it is much snapper and has a heavier trigger.
Nice detailed review review as always. I love my X-Series. If you want better recoil control, you can get the weight that goes into the grip. Also now that you have a X-Series you can customize to your liking. Grips, slides, barrels etc without buying another firearm. I know you don't like those NY waiting periods.

I just got the X Full model. Was firing 124 grain +P and it felt very snappy as well. I was expecting a lower recoil experience from a 9mm with a 4.7 inch barrel. Have only fired less than 100 rounds so hopefully it is something I will learn to manage. I enjoy shooting my full size XD .40 much more at this point.
I had one of these, but it was the older one with the site on the optic plate. I do want this version of it though once its available. Do wish they had the co-witness sites on it though, they dropped the ball there for sure.
Eighteen months ago, I listened to two RUclips videos (a Green Beret and the other a policeman) claiming that the 320X Carry is their choice for the best EDC gun available. Sig then decides it’s a threat to 365XL sales and discontinues it. Pissed off. However, today I finally found this very gun and bought it NIB for a good price.
