This brings me back to the bootleg trading times, this was the very 1st bootleg that I got. I was stunned about the sound quality and feel this live performance has (and still has it). Just awesome recording.
Just was thinking of this evening tonight. Back than I was there. Still today, Luke, David, Simon and John where vibing together as I have never seen before, until today still. Good memories. Respect. We are all on borrowed time, so precious. Thanks Luke.
I was at Vredenburg with my then band. David Garfield did a keyboard solo with his keytar and hang it a bit over the audience. And then a arm raise and some dud from the audience played two or three keys which David didn't like. Ten years later i played in a different band and we were talking about that incident. Turned out that the dude who played some keys was a friend of the guitarplayer in my new band.
This is f*cking awesome! Not because i'm Dutch (Paradiso is the pop temple @Amsterdam), but Steve has still some unpolished rawness in his play. I think because he is almost 20 years younger back than :D
Amazing performance of Borrowed Time with one of his best live solo’s ever for me

I was there in Paradiso 1994 and also in Vredenburgh, but the soundmix in Paradiso was much better. Those were very great gigs.

Its a mix of Los Lobotomys and Toto with of course Simon Phillips on drums. Great.
And then to think that the gig in Vredenburg was even better with a long jam in between which rocked the building !
