You and Heavy Burns and Syn Gaming have all adopted this smooth cinematic editing style. I wish people had been doing this years ago. It's so much more enjoyable to actually WATCH videos like this. I used to just check the description for Nexus links, but when you put so much effort into editing like this it makes me way more likely to stay and watch the whole video. Keep it up dude. Ima new sub.
Appreciate that Captain. Much of my inspiration comes from cinema and I want my videos to be a visual experience, not just another average mod review that's been done a million times over. Although, I'm still new at this and have a lot of room for improvement.
@@DoctorNostalgiaMods It's good but use it sparingly, less is more and context is everything with those transitions/effects. I enjoyed this video though. Nice to watch.
Yeah, Jesus Marimba, your going to get a RUclips Emmy for Editing!
Glad to see you went with a part 2.
Folkvangr, True Directional Movement, SkySA, Inpa Sekiro, and DynDOLOD 3.0 are all S tier mods that I'd include in a 2021 must have modlist.
I couldn't agree more with that selection. As far as TDM, SkySA, and Inpa Sekiro are concerned I plan to include all 3 in a future combat focused video
@@DoctorNostalgiaMods Awesome to hear! I absolutely love combat showcases.
You'd also probably be one of the first content creators (aside from Heavy Burns and DuffB) that isn't showcasing combat mods on a lewd female player character. lol
This is the most entertaining Skyrim mod showcase video I’ve ever watched. It even has mods I’m probably going to end up downloading.
Appreciate you taking the time to comment this, it means more than you know
Absolutely High Quality. Can't believe you only have 500 subs.
And just like that this dude inspired me to set up a new modded Skyrim game. People like you help keep this amazing community alive!
May the God shed grace on the modders🙌
Glad I could be that source of inspiration. Best of luck to you in your modding endeavors :)
@@DoctorNostalgiaMods it's going great! Overcame a few issues. Setting up fnis and or nemesis to get physics mods working was a nightmare for me but I got it working and some cool armor and weapons. I just wish I didn't have to up the difficulty to legendary because my follower is wrecking everything to fast and some of the weapons I got seem quite powerful for a level 3 character lmao
Those mad transitions! Amazing editing, really well done, loved the showcase!
Thanks for showing off Immersive Interactions! Keep it up!!
Thanks JS, appreciate you dropping by. Love the work you’re doing! Keep it up as well!
I subbed. I seriously appreciate the fact you put hard work into creating underviewed content for an 11 year old game. People like you keep the dream of Skyrim community alive. Really enjoyed the video, installed two mods from the list actually. Can't wait for the next vid :)
I appreciate you taking the time to comment this. It means a lot thanks :)
This is the first video I've seen from you and you've instantly got my subscription. The editing is top notch, the information you've gathered for the mods really helps showcase what they're all about. You make me want to play Skyrim all over again. Keep up the great work man! ^^
Thanks for the kind words Hyde!
I saw Rathalos in the thumbnail and I was genuinely hoping to finally been the King of the Skies in Skyrim XD Great video
Nice video! I'm really interested in all the new animations with Nemesis.
Great videos, looking forward to this series. Awesome editing.
Love your voice too
I have always loved Skyrim not as a game but as a world waiting for an adventurer. I'm surprised something amazing as this popped up in my suggestions. I want to give them a try to make Skyrim feel like a whole new world, again
Always happy to see someone making quality Skyrim mod vids instead of just skimming the top downloaded ones like everybody else
My first video of yours and you just gained a sub. Like others have said this style of editing made popular by Heavy Burns, Syn Gaming and other such mod reviewers really makes me want to try out these mods myself.
The editing is really on point in this one. Keep it up!
Thanks buddy :)
yea mind f over here 2:56
Wish you the best man, also love the outro song
Great content, looking forward to your future uploads.
What a fantastic video!! How do you have less than 500 subs?!?! Crazy...Well you got yourself a new one right here. Thanks for the recommendations. Keep it up!
I appreciate the kind words and welcome to the channel!
I subscribed based on the quality of this review. Informative, pleasant, and eye-candy. Keep it up.
Appreciate you taking the time to comment this. Thanks :)
Dude your video quality are amazing! I can guarantee that if you have this kind of quality in every video and upload more content you will be a big Skyrim RUclipsr.
nice video bud. Great job. subbed :)
Im blown away by your editing. It was amazing!
Glad you liked it. I spent more time than I care to admit experimenting with new edits for this one and I'm trying to push it even further for the next video
@@DoctorNostalgiaMods the transitions when talking about the schools of magic were phenomenal
Good video. I'll be watching from this point on. Subscribed
Welcome :)
Really enjoyed this, thank you!
Looks like you have been blessed by the recommendation. The Skyrim modding community has been summoned.
Damn, just found out this channel. This kind video that i always looking for. Please review old mods too
thanks for the mods! straight into my 500+ mod list!
🙀
Bro you have the quality content of a much bigger page. Just had to sub
Really wish you had more videos. Keep it going!!
This was great, you deserve 100k subs or more. You should post more often ❤️
Appreciate it Jake. I'll be uploading much more frequently, expect a new video sometime next week.
one of the best mod reviews ive seen please make more
Thanks man. More to come soon :)
Among hundreds of Skyrim mods videos that i have watched, which suggest different mods of different thematics(lights, immersion, combat etc), your videos, and i mean every video that I've watched, are ALL useful and actually show fantastic mods that ACTUALLY make the game better and more interesting, how is that you are the only RUclipsr with brains and actual taste and intellect regarding Skyrim mods, i download nearly every single mods that you suggested, how the hell did i not discovered them myself. But thanks for discovering it for us )
Thanks Harvey, I always try to do my due diligence when selecting mods to feature in my videos and it’s something I will continue to do for as long as I make content like this. Appreciate you taking the time to comment :)
You've earned a new subscriber. Btw excelent video man keep doing that kind of cinematic edit
great work, subscribed!!
Great video and edit! Subbed:)Love how far the community has continued to progress both in innovative mods and visually appealing presentations. Would you happen to have a link to your modlist? A lot of these mods I already have but some I've not seen or not really certain of.
Some mods I definitely didn't know yet and a very tranquil editing style. Also your UI at 10:34 and especially those floating Nameplates / Health Bars are absolutely beautiful and I seriously need them. Please, I've been searching for like an hour now. 🥺
Also if you would make an full UI guide i would definitely watch it.
True Directional Movement ;)
@@DoctorNostalgiaMods This was fast, thanks a lot.
This gives me a lot of hope for what we might be able to see in ES6.
Really enjoyed the vid. Good mods, good info, good editing. Thanks!
Side note, additem mod.. WOW what a life saver
Glad you enjoyed. It always surprises me at often additem is overlooked but it is indeed quite the life saver
You are such an underrated channel, keep going man
Thanks, will do!
Wow! You are super underrated! Your videos have wonderful quality! Only one minute into the video and you instantly had my sub :)
Thanks Katelynn!
Randomly stumbled upon your channel due to a RUclips recommendation, but I was just thinking about Skyrim recently, so I happily hopped on!
Great video format, a voice that's great to listen to, nothing else could be asked for!
...or well, actually there is one thing - 7:47, what armor is this? It looks amazing for a thief playthrough!
I’ve got you covered! The armor you’re looking for is from Warmonger Armory
I love your editing style man! You and another RUclipsr I follow only do this style which is a shame as this is probably the best way to do it.
As for additional mods if you haven't tried it yet I highly suggest Legacy of the dragonborn. If you even remotely enjoy collecting all the cool stuff the game gives us then this basically makes it all worth it. It, along with a massive majority of the other mods it's compatible with, have a permanent load order.
I can definitely stand behind that recommendation. Legacy of the Dragonborn has a place among my favorite mods of all time. Appreciate the comment :)
Just started modding again and I loved the video! Subbed
Welcome aboard :)
great vid!
Loved the touch of Spaghetti music towards the end infused with Skyrim pace and feel.
love the video great mods new sub yay :)
Your editing and your voice is top notch
Thanks :)
Video quality improving! I like that you list the links for BOTH Oldrim and Skyrim! (might I suggest Timestamps?)
Thanks for the suggestion. Timestamps have now been added :)
I was gonna upvote anyway, but then I heard "The Ecstasy of Gold." Well done.
I was ok with the new mods for part 1…then I saw the Magic Overhaul..I’m in love now. Hehehe
ty for mods!
With all those incredible and powerful spells there is a difficulty mode cause some of them look op as hell
You're playing on PC correct? These are amazing. I love your editing. Your calm collected voice is peaceful and brings you in closer to the visuals.
Thanks man, glad you enjoyed and I am indeed on PC
@@DoctorNostalgiaMods I recently got a cheap 1060 gtx gaming Pc for skyrim vr with 16 gb ram and 8750 processor. Totally new to modding, is there an easy way? Where do I start? Is it good enough to do quality graphics improvements?
@@snapdragon9300 I can’t speak much on VR but your specs are more than good enough to run the game with some room for improvement. Start with downloading the various engine fixes and patches that fix up the base game. With your setup I wouldn’t go overboard with graphics mods but you should be fine downloading a weather/lighting mod as well as a few retextures. I wouldn’t recommend downloading 4K textures though, stick with 2k and below.
Hello my friend, such a effort and passion you put in creating this video, deserve a proper mention. I'm grateful... may i ask which mod included your character's hairstyle in this video? I'm highly into viking/norse appearances
Appreciate the comment Amirhosein. The hairstyle is from KS Hairdos
Your videos are on par with theRadBrad. Hes my absolute favorite RUclipser
Awesome video man! I just started using mods and i cant stop hahah. And btw, may i ask what the combat mod is that ure using in 6:51 and 2:47 ? :0
It's not easy to stop once you get started, soon you'll spend way more time modding then actually playing the game lol. For my combat mods I mainly use Combat Gameplay Overhaul, True Direction Movement, Ultimate Combat, and Smilodon.
@@DoctorNostalgiaMods Tysm! i legit cant stop modding, 95% of the time i am modding and 5% actually playing hahaha
Good vid keep the work up
Btw how is the hud mod u use called ?
I use customizable ui replacer for SkyHUD
I don't even play skyrim anymore but i saw the rathalos in the thumbnail so i had to click
Doctor, what do you think about Skysa? Do you prefer CGO ? (Combat Gameplay Overhaul)
It would be awesome if you made a video comparing all combat overhaul mods and give your thoughts about it
They're both great mods respectively. I ultimately settled for Skysa over CGO and haven't looked back since. The only thing I really miss about CGO is the ability to attack while jumping. The mod had a lot of potential, but the author hasn't updated it in nearly 2 years and True Directional Movement implemented a far better 360 combat/movement system. It's a great suggestion for a video and one that I've given some thought to already. I have a different video in the works at the moment, but I may very well create the video your suggesting after that one
This video is insane. Where are your 1M+ subscribers??
Maybe one day... Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Good video
What UI were you using during the Immersive HUD? It’s cleannnn and I’d like to use it! 😊
Sounds like the new Bruce banner and now you can’t unhear it
about additem menu you can also say it can help if you if the quest bugged out or the item fell out of the world...
Ha, that 98% doesn’t know what they’re missing. Great vid thanks
Kept expecting enter sandman to play during this
Wow, nice modlist you give to us, i Will save for later, btw can i know what armor you use in Minute 2.25
Black Mage Armor :)
You got new SUBSCRIBER
Welcome!
damn, i never usually sub based on that % of viewers that aren't sub'd thing, lot of folks use that metric but i think 98% is the highest by a landslide that i've ever seen lol so here's a sub.
also, idk why i even watch skyrim mod videos, i'm too afraid to download mods bc my PC panics about viruses every time i try to lmao
Appreciate you Borko. Been modding for a long time and never had any issues with viruses and you shouldn't as long as you're on a reputable site such as nexusmods
2:47 What is the name of this mod? 3rd person animation is so good here! Nice video, btw.
I deadass thought there would be a rathalos mod after seeing the thumbnail
I've been using Oden for a while now and have had no need for other spell mods.
May the gods watch over your battles friend
As a first person only player i can't wait to download the new animations mod lol
I need the first person animation overhaul on Xbox, it would change my world on Skyrim
A list with links would be very helpful. Thank you for this. These are great
Links to the mod pages are in the description 👆
@@DoctorNostalgiaMods Thanks, I see them now. It didn't appear on my phone, and now I'm an idiot.
If you have an Xbox would you do an Xbox one if not that’s ok btw I subbed :)
I don't have an Xbox, but I'll starting indicating in the description if a mod I cover is available on it. The only mod in this video that's on Xbox would be Odin
That combat ouverhaul looks exactly like cyberpunk
2:50
May I ask which trees you're using? Looks phenomenal with the custom LODs :o
Jedi Trees with LODs generated through DynDOLOD
@@DoctorNostalgiaMods much love, looks amazing
Did.............. did he just throw a broom at that guys head?
Yeah... about that... I may have killed a man with a broom
Gopher is a High God!
You should go into detail on enais mods. I have them installed and I still don’t feel like I’ve seen everything.
can't wait to tell my kids about skyrim
What is that beautiful hud retexture!?
what mod adds the magic circles to your hands...thanks for another great vid
Strange Runes
What mod do you use to show the badass health bar above enemies? And which mod do you use to get that epic inventory HUD that I keep seeing in these videos? Finally, are they possible to download on Xbox One, even if it's under a different name?
It's tough for Xbox users there's a lot of limitations that make certain mods impossible. The inventory HUD is SkyUI, and the health bar is from True Directional Movement. Neither can be found on Xbox nor anything similar
some of the spells from the odin overhaul are already featured in apocalypse, using the exact same name
Both mods are from the same author so there's a bit of overlap
@@DoctorNostalgiaMods ohhh, that explains why he didn't give credit to the author of apocalypse
Would love to see a guide to make the game look like in your video (or atleast a list of all the mods you use)
I'd like to make a video focused on graphics mods at some point. Depending on how long this takes me I may release a modlist beforehand
Thanks maybe its not to much trouble if you could even upload a screenshot of your mod list so I can maybe get an idea for all the good mods in 2021.ihavent played skyrim since OG skyrim and plan to play it again with anniversary edition or when i beat oblivion (which ever happens first)
I discovered the whole wabbajack thing so I guess i will just use that but thanks anway!
I wish it was as simple as just releasing my mod list. My current load order is riddled with incompatibilities and I wouldn't be comfortable releasing it in it's current state. If I release something I want it to be a finished product that people can look to and replicate. I'm also using a ton of mods that are unreleased on top of patches that I've personally made to get mods to work together.
What mod are you using with Odin magic overhaul that makes the spells have those runes?
I think we are getting to that point where the elderscrolls 6 is going to have more competition from its modded predecessor when it releases, at least until the modding community chooses elevates it above it.
I think you may be right. Hopefully Bethesda is paying attention and learns a thing or two from the modding community
me before clicking on this video: man the music hit HARD sigh....
I've never been more disappointed in any mod than the enhanced armory one. When I saw that it had spears and tridents, I thought I was going to be thrusting and swinging a new weapon, but they were just warhammers and swords with a skin over them.
I'm not familiar with that one, but you should give animated armory a try. It adds a few new weapon types including spears, each of which come with their own unique animations.
One mod I always throw into my load list: C.O.I.N. - Coins of Interesting Natures. This mod adds new coin types into the game such as:
- Drakr, Currency found in Dragon Cult related dungeons
- Harald, Ancient Nord Currency found mainly in Nord Ruins
- Nchuark, Dwarven Currency found in Dwarven Ruins
- Sancar, Thalmor Currency found on Thalmor & Thalmor Locations
- Auri, Snow Elf Currency found in the Forgotten Vale
When you find the coins they will convert into Septim Value but it’s the only immersion of not finding Septims where you should never be finding them is what draws me to this mod.
I never heard of this mod until now, seems interesting. I'll definitely test this one out, thanks.
I am in the 1% :)
You’re a legend
I am now the 505th subscriber
Thank god for part 2.
Thought the channel died.
Still alive I assure you and more to come in the future ;)
just wondering but what is your mod list I really love the small detail and textures
I haven’t released my mod list publicly yet, but much of what you’re seeing texture wise is a combination of Noble Skyrim and Skyrim 2020 parallax
Your character with the face tattoos, what mods have you used for character creation, please?
The main mods I use for my character is starsight eyes, tempered skins, high poly head, ks hairdos, northborn scars, and community overlays facepaint
I ust subscribe. I love you.
Is that hair custom? I've never seen anything like it before!
It's from KS Hairdos
