@Effishcent Wouldn't that be something lol. Heck, they are using CE for Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6 they just can't get enough miles out of that thing.
@@Terminal-Thought-Experiment And by "modding" I mean researching, downloading, installing and trying to get it all working properly. just saying, you deserve a lot more attention for this kind of content, i've never been so invested in a skyrim mods video other than some of the main modding channels. this was amazing, thank you! :)
Love the video, a bit of a long suggestion but while you were covering these mods, I noticed a lot of things I like such as your Whiterun, its a lot more luscious so if you could tell me that mod I would be grateful! I use JK's Skyrim but LOVE luscious floral environments. The actual suggestion: Make your own modlist video and go in depth or give a brief description of the mod. I wish the true directional movement mod was easy to install, shit doesn't work unless you install it's 50 thousand "optional" mods. Sat up for 4 hours last night installing all of them just to have my game crash on launch
Does anyone know if true direction movement is available for Xbox Series? Or a similar mod that is? I'm trying to go through and fix my game play with I order of: mechanics, NPC's, visuals, audio.
The problem I have with True HUD is that it cancels out the balance bar added by Inpa Sekiro combat mod, and it's the base of my combat overhaul haha. But if you can use true hud it looks great
luckily the mods of skyrim (and Fallout) never stop, almost every day there are new ones and in 2022 we can count at least 100 new ones per game that are worth starting to play these games again :)
Yeah it's crazy, mods somehow keep progressively getting better year over year. I hope Bethesda is paying attention and introduces some of the mod concepts from these games into future installments
i'm not english speaking but god your video far exceeds most of the hundreds that I have seen, good explanation, your voice is understandable, the background video shows perfection everything you are commenting on and your editing is a resounding 10, I hope you continue making videos you really do a phenomenal work
It's been 6 years since I last played Skyrim (for the 2nd time after its initial launch.) I guess I'm installing it again having seen this so thanks for the video! :D I have a sneaking suspicion it'll be a busy second half of the year with gaming for me, since I also installed (Open) Morrowind and Daggerfall (Unity) with mods. It's mental what people have made for this series lately!
I don't really like mods that make my npc's look like super models. People did not look that perfect back then, they don't look that perfect NOW. lol It makes them look like porcelain dolls. Beauty comes from imperfections, come on people.
I’ll be getting Skyrim for my pc and these mods are blowing my mind. I’m completely in awe, the TDM and detection mod make it seem like a completely new game. Modders are truly godly with this stuff- also, thanks for the awesome video, you showed these mods off perfectly and have a great voice for this sort of thing
+1 for permanent Winter. Looks great. Great modlist and I'll get the first 4. (just not a fan of the airbrushed model look most character overhauls do) I've looked at Seasons before but it never occured to me that you could just set it to permanently set it to your favorite season. And I usually don't play in third person but with TDM, I just might give that playstyle another try.
Love, love, love this video which helps a new modder, like myself, to learn more about the mods available, and which ones work well and play better in the sandbox! I truly appreciate the amount of work you have put into this vid! Thanks again!

I just started my journey in pc gaming and modding a few months ago and i really enjoy the mods you have made, i am very grateful for mod authors like yourself that have brought much more enjoyment to games like skyrim for noobs such as myself thank you.
That's a fair point. Although, the main reason for mentioning Modpocalypse was because it improves the facial structure of all vanilla NPC's. If you prefer the vanilla hair styles there's an option to install the mod with high poly vanilla hair.

Great mods. Could you do a in depth tutorial on how to work through mod compatibility for those of us with moderate modding experience. For example how to update mode. And fix some issues with determining compatibility. I downloaded a mod list from ESO with 350+ mods. It works great but I'd love some features from your vids. But I'm not sure of compatibility issues with his list. Great mods btw. Earned a like and sub. Thanks for the great mods and time it takes to make these videos.
Thanks :), that means a lot coming from another creator. Also I don't think you should sell yourself short, from what I've seen of your channel your editing, narration, and mod selection are all great. I know you didn't ask for advice, but when it comes to improving your editing skills, I would say just aim to improve in at least one aspect from your last video and try to pick up at least one new editing technique each time.
You know I been thinking a lot and still can't figure why they didn't add a (1) (2) (3) on start of mod when they need to have a previous one installed before hand... This way by installing mods in order becomes automatic even if you can't read for shit and you have 300 mods around that you can't even remember what are they for.
So I go to download the seasons mod and I get a pop up that says that the mod will only work properly if I download the following 4 other mods. I downloaded the first three but the last one requires a manual download with specific directions which I do not understand. Then I read up at the top: This is for experienced mod authors and users that know how to use xEdit, xLODGen or DynDOLOD already. I don't know what to do.
honestly, just alone for the new fighting system i'd reinstall everything again, crack my head open after trying to make every mod work together and then enjoy skyrim for three nights in total
Nice video! Can you show us your mods for new armors and the one you use for the Horse? For combat, Are you using True Direction Movement with Combat Gameplay Overhaul in this video?
I feel like they should release or update Skyrim so that the graphics and animations and everything is so much better and Modders can have even more to build more off of.
sucks theres only two buttom.. what is this the 80s nintendo? doesn't matter how good the game is.. only two... pictures every game with just two attack option, one for defense basically just one.... just one attack. Beautiful! Just its been always terrible with mods. Following commands and in the end it keeps crashing or it doesn't work. I used to do it through nexus and got stuck on different versions, some were suddenly not compatible and all went to waste. I wish to have skyrim looking like this. Literally just one setup icon to install it into main folder or just unzip. With nexus had so much struggles modding skyrim or fallout 4 that I always played just basic game...
6:25 I've been looking for this mod for over 10 years. I even wrote everywhere about this idea, in the hope that someone will do it. "Arrow trajectory\Arrow flight path" I even suggested how to do it in a bad but easy way by simply attaching a ray to the texture in the form of a trajectory. To a bow or arrow. Now, 10 years later, I happen to see this.
OK so I just got my 1st ps4 after so long finely. so I got Skyrim ( favorite game) I don't know much about mods whatsoever. Alright do you have to be online in order for these mods to keep playing even while offline ??
Over a decade later and modders are still improving Skyrim. Probably half the reason Bethesda keep re-releasing it 😄

"Arrow trajectory\Arrow flight path" I even suggested how to do it in a bad but easy way by simply attaching a ray to the texture in the form of a trajectory. To a bow or arrow.
Now, 10 years later, I happen to see this.
Amazing. altho some of these mods dosnt work with VR. but JK makes VR so much more immersive Absolutely a Must!
OK so I just got my 1st ps4 after so long finely. so I got Skyrim ( favorite game) I don't know much about mods whatsoever. Alright do you have to be online in order for these mods to keep playing even while offline ??
