I feel like the vanilla werewolf footsteps are good enough because it makes more sense for an Apex predator to be a bit more sneaky than a werewolves size would let them on to be. Harder to catch your prey when they can hear you coming.
I had a chance to test it out and can confirm that it does indeed work and seems to be fully compatible with all the other mods I featured in the video.

Big fan of JPSTEEL’s new Berserkyr quest mod that deals with werebears too. Not as relevant maybe since this is about werewolf specific mods, but the Berserkyr patch collection also makes it possible to run werewolf overhaul mods alongside the overhaul of werebears introduced by Berserkyr, allowing you to basically have separated but consistent overhauls for both Werebears and Werewolves. Not to mention that Berserkyr is just a really cool mod. Opportunity to become a werebear, introduces some ideas based on real Viking history, new armor, special new ingredient. Perfect alternative to the Companions faction quests, too. I run it alongside Growl and the Old Ways: Nordic Religion. After using the dedicated patch collection to make it all run more smoothly together, you get the Imperial pantheon inside cities where it belongs, but the ancient Nordic pantheon in the wilderness. Then you can stumble along these tribal, almost Skaal-like werebear folk and can even join their practices if you want to.
Wow I had no idea there was a new iteration of Moonlight Tales and that it can actually be used alongside Growl. I’ve always been forced to pick between the two in the past

Will be checking out all of these mods for my werewolf play-through *except* the one for their footsteps. I think a creature that primarily comes out at night should have quiet footsteps and size isn’t a factor in this regard. Tigers and other big cats can be remarkably stealthy. Why not Werewolves, eh?

Werewolves arent the same as actual irl apex predators. Nothing in skyrim can outrun a werewolf (not even close), and 99% cant even kill it. It has zero reason to be sneaky

The incredibly editing, storytelling, tone, cinematic shots and of course the mod choices just blow everyone else out of the water. I eagerly await every video of yours at this point
You said that the werewolf transformation doesn't scale well at higher lvls which may be true. But you can use the dragon aspect shout and then transform into a werewolf. I call this super Saiyan werewolf. You will get insane buffs as a result. Unfortunately you won't get the buffs with the vampire lord form but you get better looking visuals.
I use Rudy ENB for Cathedral Weathers, Zangdar's Edit. As far as graphics mods, I use quite a lot of them. If you're interested, my entire modlist can be found on my Patreon
I just wish they would have added quest with the companions, or even another character or a pack or something similar where you all go hunting together. Or if they would have made it where every month there is a full moon and no matter what time, or where you are in the game you and all other wolves turn. Being able to eat raw meat and corpses while in human form would have also been cool. Changing the appearance of the character in human form.
I don't know if we're allowed to request video ideas here, but what if you made a video all about modded outfits? Either because of what they do, how they look, or both. I think there are a lot of really cool modded armors that deserve some recognition.

Also Predators - A Werewolf and Vampire Role Playing Tool works well for trying to blend in, eventually cause Silver Hand or Dawnguard/Vigilants to cities to patrol. It's really fun and add some stuff for werewolves.
wow i was about just to replace Sacrosanct with Better Vampires +BVL and just keep growl untouched, but the werewolf encounters alone has me sold on also getting Moonlight Tales, especially since I can be lazy and keep Growl up. Werewolf mods are fairly sparse especially compared to vampires. There aren’t enough to warrant a part 2, at least not now. I also had to cut a few I had originally intended on including due to them having incompatibilities with one or more of the other mods I showcased.
When it comes to Tamriel's therianthropy disease, is it possible to become a Werebear by being attacked by Wild/Feral Werebears and normal Bears through one of these mods?

You should have included this mod (i forgot its name 💀) were it changes the werewolves model to make them less demonic and more wolf like (there is also now female werewolves) its fully compable with this other mod called werewolves variants which well as the name says makes variants
I remember playing as a werewolf with moonlight tales it was so fun but so annoying! 😂 For example when I just got to Windhelm for the first time and then BAM! a dragon attacks. I try to fight him and then BAM! I transform into werewolf. City guards start attacking me instead of helping me, the dragon tries to roast me from the sky and I can do absolutely nothing with it.😂 And that was only the beginning. I fled to the abandoned shack, killed a sabercat there. Because the sabercat I could hit, unlike the dragon. I also used some needs mod, so my pc needed to eat and sleep. So I waited for the transformation to end, then I ate and slept for the rest of the day. In the evening I went to try and enter Windhelm again. And as soon as I reached the famous bridge, it was all there again. The f**king dragon, the transformation, the guards...😢😢😢 I felt so helpless I wanted to cry. I decided to hide under the bridge in a small niche, where the dragon could not reach me and wait till the guards kill that thing. It was a good plan. What could possibly go wrong? Then to my horror I felt something is squeezing me out of my hideout. It was my horse, which I completely forgot about! It spawned right behind me for some reason and took the niche completely. I regretted having a horse at that moment. The dragon was happy, me - less so. I fled again to the abandoned shack which I should have called my home at this point.😂 Waited, ate, slept. Went to Windhelm again. I know I'm stubborn. But this time I was lucky. The f**king dragon attacked me near Kynesgrove. It happened at dusk so the cursed full moon was not out yet and I could use my spells. For the first time in that playthrough I was as happy to fight and kill a dragon as the true dragonborn should be!😂 The villagers were happy too. They were praising me for saving them and then BAM! I transformed. 😅 I had to flee again to avoid killing them. If you are into that kind of experience, try forced transformations from Moonlight tales.
Only thing I don't like is the loud footsteps sound effects. I remember meeting wolves in real life. It was snowing and they were literally walking arms' length from where I stood. And I have sensitive hearing. To the point where I can hear bats and electronics running and such. I couldn't hear them.

No first person werewolf mod? Doesn't seem like the ultimate collection if you can't embody a werewolf through their eyes. Still a pretty cool collection though.
moonlight tales is kind of lore breaking. Companion's version of the beast blood is more stable and they are in full control, full moons don't affect them.

That's a fair point. I would love to see someone make a proper stealth mod for werewolves so they could be played more so as a stealthy predator

You should try the "Skin-walkers" mod by chucacu. Best Werewolf skin by far IMO. Flies under the radar because the name is very searchable

try useing 'Dragon among beasts' this mod lets you use your dragon shouts in beast form.
With Growl, can I stay in my werewolf form if I want? I want to the option to run in the woods as a werewolf, and not need to kill if I don't have to.
