This is one best werewolf mods another one is moonlight tales each mod has its pros and cons I like this one more but moonlight tales does draw me to it a lot with it 32 perk tree and able to break doors and chest and different roar abilities u get in moonlight tale while the growl mod roar only able to work on locks once get the totems

I make sure to demonstrate each mod/deep dive with the same mod list, which I post in the descriptions of my videos. If you checkout my Sacrosanct videos, for example, I've got my load order posted in the description. I think I'm posting it on my most recent necromancer videos too. That list there crashes about once every two weeks (20 hours) of game play. The civil war mods are a bit glitchy though, I completed those and things went south fast. I'm restructuring my load order after I finish with Arcanum and Undeath. Can't wait :)

How did you get werewolf potions at level 1? Sorry I just got this mod and trying this out just now.
What do you mean by werewolf potions? It's been a while since I made this video. My memory doesn't go back that far! lol. I assume you're asking about Werebeast Blood? It is an alchemical item added by growl, which transforms you when ingested. For the demo, I used the command line to place some in my inventory. Much faster that just ... waiting ... for it to show up in the loot drop :)

Growl for me just feels broken
It does make you all sorts of powerful. I think you can disable some of those features in the MCM, to tone it down. Have you tried Moonlight Tales yet? I haven't, but some people have recommended it to me as an alternative.

I assume you mean how to add fur to your character while in your mortal form? If that's the case, I don't think Growl gives your mortal form fur. I went through the Growl MCM and it's Werewolf perk tree. Nothing. There might be another mod that does that, perhaps one of the other werewolf overhauls? I haven't played any other ones yet, though, so I really can't say. Sry.
Oh.. thats understandable man thankyou.. i thought this mod gave your character in mortal form fur.. i just dont know how to enable it because i have a character which is mainly focused on being a warewolf. Thankyou thoe bro

How do you turn people into werewolves
How do you feed on console. The loot replaces the feed action which is required to level up in beast form.
For me, the 'feed' option comes up first, and then I have the option to loot after that. Are you running any other mods that affect looting or werewolves?
@Sethiroth_Gaming would a more shouts, enhanced magic or more bandit camps get in the way? I have the growl mod at the very bottom. I also have Alidans ultimate armory and Tweaks very unofficial patch installed as well.
How did your alteration level up on beast form?

Most likely using Ocato's Retical, which applies spells to him, which when freely automatically casted, does contribute to his alteration levels

I can't summon my wolf and bears

It said growl to summon but they never spawn i even upgraded to 2nd lvl

And i keep leveling my skills wich lvl me VERY FAST and i don't like that its from the growl mod cant i turn it off or something?
Sounds like you've got two issues:
#1 wolf/bear summons aren't working
#2 skills are leveling up super fast (I assume when you feed)
Answers:
#1 - I don't have a playthrough with the companions setup yet, so I can't test out that specific perk right away, but here are a few things that might help.
- Option 1) Since that perk is quest-related, you might have missed a step in the questline to make that perk actually work.

- Option 2) Growl might be conflicting with one of your other mods
- Answer: Start a new game with only Growl active. Play through the Companions questline until you've unlocked everything required for that perk, then give it a shot. If it works, it means the culprit was likely another mod conflicting with this one.
- Note: Xbox is a bit more difficult to mod because you can't quite "open the hood" of the game like you can on PC. That will limit some of your options.
#2 - Skills leveling up with growl a core feature of the mod, which you can change from the MCM. However, I'm pretty sure Xbox doesn't allow you to install the SkyUI mod, so you can't access those settings :(
- Half Answer: I have heard some really good things about Moon Light Tales, which is another popular werewolf mod you might like more than Growl. Maybe you could give it a try instead? www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2803
That's the best I can do. Wish I could help more but plot-related bugs are difficult to test on the fly when they are that far down the questline. If you still have trouble with this when I'm running a werewolf playthrough, let me know and we can tinker some more. I hope this helps!
Where do you get the werebeast blood from because I can't find it

I actually have this mod on the Xbox one and I'm having trouble figuring out how to give my follower beast blood-
Let's see... Let me review Growl real quick... Do you already have 1) the perk "Spread the Beastblood" and 2) have given your follower the beastblood by trading them Werebeast Blood and accepting the dialog box?
Sounds like it's perk and inventory related, without those, you can't spread it. Let me know if that's the case, and you're still having trouble. I'll log into my main and do some werewolf experimentation on Lydia ;)

Okay. I tried it out myself and ran into a similar problem. I had the perk. I had the werebeast blood. I moved the werebeast blood into Lydia's inventory, hit okay, and jumped into a fight alongsider her. She remained human.
After the fight, I talked to her. She had a new dialogue option, something like "I want you to change into a Werewolf during combat". I hit that, and during the next fight she went a fur and claws :)
Important note: When I talked to her again, I noticed the option flipped to "I don't want you to change into a Werewolf during combat." So you can enable or disable that feature as needed. Like during the civil war battles/missions where the Stormcloaks don't take kindly to our kind ;)

Honestly, on xbox Growl just feels awkward, it doesn't even tell us what our racial benefit is...atleast last i played, been a bit
Yeah, I haven't done much modding on xbox or ps4, although I do use a controller when I'm playing on my PC. Just feels more natural to me. Growl is pretty straightforward, but it is definitely an acquired taste. I haven't tried Moonlight Tales yet, but I've heard it gives you a bit more RP opportunities than Growl.
@@Sethiroth_Gaming I've used both, personally MT felt a bit more intrusive, atleast to me it did, but i honestly encourage you to check it out yourself
