I have to admit to not listening to many chamber music ensembles, but I thought this was beyond excellent. I loved the interplay between the instruments, which happens in symphonic works as well, but was much easier to discern AND enjoy. I may be hooked from now one. (See what I did there with the Trout theme!!!)
My God, this is the best I’ve ever heard this played! And it’s my favorite chamber piece, I’ve listened to a lot of performances. Eleven on a scale of ten.
00:07 I. Allegro vivace
09:17 II. Andantino
16:07 III. Scherzo
20:43 IV. Theme con Variazioni
28:24 V. Allegro giusto

Yes Charles, I agree with you, really excellent and I did get hooked!! I also like how the young violinist is so enjoying herself with smiles.
Excellent. Well play. Well recorded. Thanks.
Marvelous composition and execution.
Absolutely terrific!
I need a glass of wine with this "Trout." No trout? Okay, then a salmon. A lovely performance for either trout or salmon dinner.

Idk how to say it, but the cellist just looks like he would be playing this song canonically
oh my goodness my washing machine plays this when it's done....... 21:20
Brilliant!
Excellent performance! I’d swear thats Franz Schubert playing viola.
I love how this excellent violinist (who is she?) smiles while she plays, which is so rare with classical musicians (including me, unfortunately...)

Jackie Du pre really slayed this
28:25 last movement
That sounds the best: Partly because he's on a Bosendorfer, and part because they're expert musicians
Of course, Bösendorfer pianos are made in Austria.
splendido suono viennese! violino hai catturato bosendorfer?

20:43 washing machine
This reminds me that I'm still Waiting for God.
Brilliant work but way too much focus on the violin 🎻...those cello bass viola and piano all need equal focus 4 this masterpiece

U rude
the violin has a "voice" so metallic and scratchy that it makes listening unpleasant. Buy her a violin!
You are deaf.
Couldn't disagree more
