Thank you so much for this account! I spent 15 years as a teacher and been a Texas BBQ enthusiast for over a decade-- you are clearly skilled and refined at both. Wonderful to see someone across the pond making wayy better stuff than a lot of arrogant uncles over here, too. 😂
This can be done with any fruit apples, raspberries , blueberries , blackberries come to mind as a Southern American. Also add a touch of nutmeg to it too. It's basically a busted up fruit pie served warm with ice cream.
I learned how to make peach cobbler in the Scouts. We used to make it in a Dutch oven over, well in, the fire with some additional coals on the lid. Can’t beat it…..awesome video glad you’ve perfected your cobbler.
Looks like a great recipe, love the simplicity. I will certainly be trying this, along with your banana pudding as well. Thank you for sharing these recipes!
Nice job, Dave! I love Peach or any fruit cobbler for that matter. If you have access to fresh peaches, you might want to try lightly grilling peach halves to get some light char marks and carmelization, then add to the cobbler. A nice summertime touch 😎
Looks awesome. Fresh peaches will be plentiful here in the Midwest of the US in the next few weeks. Canned peaches are great, but ripe fresh peaches are another level. You might want to try a pinch of cayenne, some nutmeg, or ginger in the dry ingriedients for fun. 😉
Great video as always and can’t wait to try it. Guessing you used dark brown sugar would of never thought of using dark. Got to try it. Be safe and thanks
Cant beat a proper peach cobbler but look up a peach dump cake. Very similar but the easiest thing i make for large groups because people will annihilate trays in seconds.
Peaches n cream is one of my favourite combos... In truth it's usually peaches n evaporated milk lol, but to see this with a lovely vanilla ice cream, well, I'm gonna have to try it out! Thank you!!!
Looks very ince! Peaches are plentiful over here (Greece), might have to try this as a dessert if I ever defeat Greek bureaucracy and manage to get my BBQ place open 😅 🤞
Ive tried this twice now and both times it's failed to cook in the middle while getting fairly crispy around the outside... What am I doing wrong? Still tastes fantastic, all the elements are there, it's definitely a me problem.
Are you using a cast iron pan? It sounds like a temperature issue. Try lowering the temperature and cooking it lower for longer. Allow that middle to cook without getting too crispy on the outside
Love that you cooked it till browned and crispy. Can’t stand when it’s all bland and mushy. Maybe hit it with a sprinkle of Demerara sugar before it goes in.
I’d love to hear your peach cobbler recipes below! Still trying to make it the best I can.
Now you're a true Texan

Gotta say it’s really cool seeing someone taking American cooking back to their home country. I’m so used to seeing it the other way around
There are so many American styles of cooking that I love to try and replicate, because we rarely ever do them justice here

Peach cobbler / Pecan pie and banana pudding 🤤 ❤
I need to try and make pecan pie again. Haven’t done that in a few years
I've eaten a lot of banana pudding at bbq places in Central Texas and it rarely disappoints.
Looks like I'll be buying peaches at the weekend! Cheers mate
Do it! Thank’s for watching!
This and pecan pie are my favorite desserts (especially with a good vanilla ice cream)
Peach cobbler is so underrated. I’ll have to make some. Looks fantastic
You couldn't hope for a better first attempt. Looks amazing. Bravo.
Thank you very much! Though I did have a few very first awful attempts where it dried out. Comes out great now! Thank’s again for watching!

Cherry cobbler was always my favorite with peach a close second.
Just made this and it was bloody lovely. Way nicer than cobbler I’ve had while I’ve been on holiday in the States. 👌

That looks delicious. I will be trying this recipe over the weekend. Thanks for another great video.
Sounds so good. I think I'm going to try it this weekend but instead of the oven I'm going to bake in the smoker. Should be amazing!!!!!!

Can peaches are key brother. Your recipe is on point.

Just made this with my kids. Delicious. Thank you!
Looks awesome! I make peach cobbler often and will sometimes throw in a handful of fresh blackberries or raspberries, adds a nice color to the dish
I was skeptical at first but that looks like it turned out amazing. Well done.

I love the cold and hot together!
Also, have you since tried it with a regular baking dish. Curious if the cast iron really makes it.

Are you using just normal granulated sugar or caster sugar for this?
Yup making this.
Made me think I might be able to do it! we'll give it a go mate!
Oh you absolutely can. Easiest thing to make. And the results are so so good
You've clearly taken tips from Brad on video editing. I should add, the cobbler looks delicious
This is getting made immediately
Ha yes! I want to see it on the menu soon!

For the algorithms bay bay!!!!
Looks good that mate!
Cheers mate! I’ll have to make us a batch. It’s legit.
Looking good 👍🏼 pretty much the same way I've been doing it for years 👌🏼
That’s good to know I’m doing it right!

Butter that pan then add your ingredients
Awesome! have you used the ninja smoker yet? Wondering if you would do some recipes on it @WilsonsBBQ
