And Nishiki's death was Akiyama's success *Sky Finance* was funded with money that was literally falling from the millennium tower after the Yakuza 1 climax. Their fates are unknowingly similar too, both needing money for themselves or family. Nishiki needed to gather the money to save his sister's life and Akiyama wanted to get out of poverty. He's definitely filling everyone's hole Nishiki left.

He was exiled by Goda Jin(who revealed he could stand from the wheelchair) and left to wander Japan on a motorcycle. During his travel Ryuji met Han Joon Gi. Han was trying to take Ryuji to meet the Jingweon boss since Ryuji is the legitimate heir to the Jingweon mafia.
