The tip I am sharing here on LinkedIn is not about educate on how to use search option on LinkedIn but I have shown how writing wrong job titles can fetch more results. Do review it again. To answer your questions, become more creative in writing strings by understanding the requirements clearly will help in a better way. And the last question, "Business Analys*" , the wildcard does it's job in monster.com only.
1. You have to have full understanding of the JD. 2. You have to think from the candidate point of view while preparing the string. 3. You have to think from the laymen terms while writing your key words. 4. Understanding the nature of the skills & related duties 5. Using duties apart from Skills in the string like Ghost software used to image while upgrading systems, so you can use (ghost or imag*)

It's depends on the reck. Need to take important once to add in strings and filter it one by one to get more profiles.
