PLEASE PRAY FOR US!!! We're moving from SE Wisconsin to north central Kentucky. It's not going so well. My son and his wife took our first load down 2 weeks ago and never made it. The truck blew the water pump. Then while he moving the truck and trailer 4 blocks to the repair shop he hit a pothole and broke the front axel on the trailer. Both are still in the repair shops. Not sure when they will be ready. All we really know is the repair bills are BIG MONEY!!!! We rented a big U-Haul 26FT. TRUCK My wife and son took it down but we still have a LOT to move down there. I know GOD has everything already under HIS control. But we have only one more week to be out of this house here in Wisconsin... Renting U=hauls AIN'T CHEAP and our budget is getting very low FAST!!!!! I'm disabled so I'm not much help but I do what I can in spite of how painful it is... Great video as always thanks for sharing it. Be blessed my friend in Jesus name... BBE..
9:01 If they are the typical deckplus or deckmate screw they are not shear rated for construction use. You have to get spax, Simpson strong tie or some other construction rated screw.
I think I read an old Isaac Asimove Short story about this once, I hope you are ok, them wasps got some bite. And that fall aint no joke. Prayers for your fren the Pastor. ❤✝️🥓
Being an old contractor. I was working one day pulled down some soffit. From the top of a ladder. And a 6”+ Red wasp nest drop down on me. Obviously, I fell trying to get off the ladder. Got stung a few times. The homeowner put ammonia on the stings, and they instantly quit stinging. 😮 After that I always carried a small bottle of ammonia on the work truck. 😊
For the strings if you will take wet tobacco and put it on the strings and that will take the veteon out of the string. It does work. I got eat up with ground yellow jackets and my Grandma put stuff on my strings and they stop hurting real quick and was ok until I went around 5he house and was pulling weeds and grass around the high front porch and there was a big hornet nest under it and let's just say I was put on a pawlet in the back of a truck and drove 35 - 45 minutes to the nearest hospital around snaking curves because I had a reaction to all the venom in all the strings I got. The reason it took so long to get to the hospital is I lived in a hollow a half a mile off the main road in the mountains of N.C and the roads was a two lane snakes bad roads back in the 70's The nearest hospital at the time was in Murphy, N.C I ended up spinning a few days in the hospital. Cassie😢
I’ve had my share of wasps but the worst thing happened in Florida when I was replacing the vinyl soffit and a 6’ rattlesnake came out at me. I came off the ladder without using any steps. 😂 Had to call a professional to remove it or I’d have put a bunch of 12 gage holes in it.
You can buy a diamond encrusted blade doesn’t throw as much metal and a lot less noise also much faster and easier to cut a straight line not much more expensive
Okay Hank, Bad Hammer Knocker is good and funny BUT team work makes the dream work makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. The laziest person I EVER worked with in my entire career used to say that all the time. He would say that then disappear until the work was done. Anyway keep up the good work and don't bleed to much remember safety 3rd!
You gotta sheeth that roof first. Just saying screwing down every 24 inches just isnt enough. Just sayin. I'm doing a Metal Roof tomorrow, and it will be screwed down side to side every valley. I could be wrong, cause we live in different parts of the country, but seems like sheething would help with strength during high winds. Also, I always use a Pallet when standing on a forklift, (I do not recommend Standing on a fork lift ever, it is dangerous) however if you dont care, Use a Pallet, its sturdier than a 5 inch fork
I found out the hard way that a ground bees' nest was under a dead branch I was trying to pull out of the woods, well I got stung ten times by them before I got to my truck five yards away
And Riley smart people put a first aid kit in there automobiles. Hay tell me what a electrician use if they get a cut ? . I have it in my auto's you never know when you might need it. Lol friends in high places
It's known as a euphemism. In this case, it's a substitute for a "bad" word. Similar in use to "ma'-ama jamma" or "mother lover." It's basically saying "mother-effer"...you can figure that one out!😊

Nice job and God bless y'all
You haven't lived until you drive over a yellow jackets' nest with a bushhog in an open station tractor. I feel your pain.

If you are out in the country a little you can eat deer meat this winter. A neighbor somewhere will let you get a deer somewhere.
I like watching your videos & it brighten up my day! ❤

Great videos guys!
Dawn dish soap does wonders. They had it out for the bug man.
A paste of baking soda and water will take the pain away from the bee sting.

I learned to keep a bandaid in my wallet from my father as well, when I was a youngster.

Cassandra, it's STINGS, no R.
sorry for misspell but what I said about the tobacco does works good on stings
White roof to black? Isn't that gonna cook you in the Summer?
In all the stuff you get into always have bee spray.on hand.
Isn't that other dude a bug maintenance guy?
Ice in a towel, even a cold can of drink or frozen peas or the like are good for wasp stings.

In Australia we call those guys 'Blister'. They only appear when the work is finished.
Just watch out for wasps Hank next time
