Some ppl would think its a smallish firewood shed, but the efficiency of your burner is that you dont have to burn as much wood as most do. Leaving room for your smoker, which is tall, not squatty, a pool table, ping pong table, AND a dance floor...😂😅 Love ya'll ❤️

A little tip from my Uncle Johnny. Get yourself one of those cheap 99 cent cup holders from Walmart and screw it to the post, then keep a can of wasp spray in it. Trust me, that was handiest thing he ever did for his carport. We'd go through a couple cans a year spraying wasp nests and carpenter bees.

My grandfather lived with us from the time I was 2 (1948). He always had a saw and mower sharpening business in our garage. I do think it’s wasteful to not sharpen your saws, however, they probably don’t make them as they did in the 50’s. Also, everyone has to choose the things they will do theirselves and the stuff they will spend money on. It’s ok. You do so many things on your property, it amazes me.

I think that you have done a great job on your wood shed. As far as size I think it will be sufficient. I assume that you have other wood for backup and even if you don’t you have the correct tools to gather some more no matter how heavy the winter is. I do appreciate whenever someone builds to a higher standard. The buildings will last much longer and there will be no surprises when heavy weather conditions occur.
    Best Regards Al in Virginia.

Good morning Lumnah family from a cloudy pacific Northwest! Good morning viewers. It does look cleaner with that board in front. Those corner braces are massive and should stop all the sway in the woodshed. Interesting that you had to add another angle to the cut at the top. Nice job! Barn cat in front of the door to the Harvest House? It does seem very much sturdier. You had to get more animal feed. Those bins come in handy! Thanks for this video Lumnah family!

Definitely overbuilt. Braces on timber frame structures are tension/compression and as such are usually a couple of sizes smaller dimensionally than the posts and beams. For example the braces on my 160 year old house are 4" on 10" and 12" posts. OK Al, fess up, what new tools did YOU get at Lowes while Gina was "distracted"? Al, Check out the MicroJig BladeClean system. It is a plastic tray with a bunch of accessories that make cleaning the wood tar and sap/pitch off your blades which can extend the life of your bits and blades immensely. Use whatever solvent cleaner you want with it, but it makes maintaining saw blades super easy. As soon as you notice the carbide teeth on the blades turning tan/brown and the tool struggling, that's your sign to clean the blade. I like CMT Tools Blade and Bit solvent/cleaner.

It’s usually a good idea to over engineer (or overbuild) things, especially if they’re going to have to withstand outdoor weather conditions. The eastern coast, and particularly the New England states, can get a full gamut of weather conditions, and it’s always best to plan for the worst and appreciate the best. Besides, as Al said, the finished project looks better.

To successfully breed cattle you need to leave the bull and cow together for weeks not a few days. If you look at sonne farms and farmer Tyler two different sized operation One large and one small you'll see the leave the cow and bull together for 4 to 8 weeks to achieve a 90 something success rate.

Those feed bins are great, unless you don’t have the physical strength to throw a 50 lb bag of feed on your shoulder, or you are under 5’10”! Lol, i am 68 and can only pick the bag up to my waist, so i use 55 gallon drums to keep our feed in!

@@ericjohnson1008 Oh, I bet that felt good! I used to chuckle when folks there talked about the cold? The coldest I have ever been out in was -60. You do not leave any skin exposed. You can feel your eyeballs go stiff. BUT, after being there awhile and acclimating, when the north wind blew in the winter, I could really feel it! Enjoy the cool down!

Good morning all and yes you have me wandering what you’re planning. But I would be putting up something three times bigger for wood 🪵 storage having a two year rotation. Also I would be putting in to the left a wood cutting station about that size but 2 foot taller 😊
