I wrote to Kay Ballard a couple of years ago and sent her the episode guide that came with the DVDs for her to autograph. She wrote on it that her costar was a great lady. Ms. Ballard is a great lady too and so talented.
I believe the Arnaz children now own this DA production as well as HERES LUCY LB production as Desilu Too along with other properties their parents participated in . The ILL SHOW was long ago sold to CBS and THE LUCY SHOW became part of the paramount properties in 1968 , In the case of THE MOTHERS IN LAW, I think that had to work with other parties for one Eve Arden or her estate since she owned a part of TMIL . It is nice that at least for now the Arnaz descendants have control of some of their famous parents output .
This contained many from the old Desilu gang worked on this show : Hatch, Carroll/Davis even Rowan doing commercial IDs. Eve Arden herself goes back to the CBS radio days when her OUR MISS BROOKS was a stablemate of Balls MY FAVORITE HUSBAND
0:43- HENRY: (looking in his bathroom mirror) "'Boss- you could FIRE me for this, but you have bad breath....BAD BREATH'! Yes, that's EXACTLY what I'm going to tell her when I see her today! And I'll give her THIS- SCOPE! The mouthwash that fights bad breath, and kills germs for hours! TODAY, I'm going to strike a blow for fresher breath in the office!" **at the office** HENRY: "Boss- you could----" HENRY'S BOSS: {a cute looking tomato, passes by and notices him and the Scope} "Henry! I'm glad to see you're using SCOPE! I tried it this morning, and my breath feels GREAT! Keep up the good work!" **As she winks at him, Henry stares at the camera, somewhat flustered, as the scene crossfades into the bottle of Scope and glass next to it** ANNOUNCER: "SCOPE! 'Once in the morning does it'."
Based on memory, Lilt was not advertised on that show at that point. It should be noted that P&G designated particular brands for shows they had complete sponsorship of.

That's so cool! RIP Kaye ❤❤❤
I am sure if Arden had survived Ballard she would said the same .
Yes!!
For the record, the Al Lewis credited as producer is NOT the Al Lewis of Car 54 and Munsters fame.
Right! THAT Lewis originally produced Eve Arden's "OUR MISS BROOKS" on radio and TV (1948-'56).
Hate to admit it, but I needed to be told - thanks, Gremlin.
Thanks, I about to look it up!
The great Hank Simms doing the sponsor tags!

With the passing last month (Oct. 2019) of Jerry Fogel, the entire cast of this great show is gone. :(
It was always my impression that Jerry Fogel wasn't a professional actor. Not that I didn't like him; I did.
Anyone else see Rob Reiner being interviewed by Jiminy Glick about how Desi Arnaz treated him on the set? It's hilarious.
One of my friends told me that Scope's "Once In The Morning" tagline was misleading.

This was a topnotch show! Thanks for posting!
50 years of mint flavored Crest.
My family usually had regular Crest, so I thought we were too poor to buy mint.
That "collection" is from the DVD set of The Mothers In Law.

Where's Lilt home permanent? It is missing?

John Arthur Lowe, where did you get these, and in such an amazing condition?
