Langar is considered, “Congregational food”, and not “Free kitchen”, as previously been stated. Pangat literally means, a row, not that we have to sit in a row, but rather to end a hierarchy or differences of each kind. Guru Nanak in 1522 setup the first langar in the city of Kartarpur, and Guru Amar Dasji made it obligatory for everyone.

Congregational Work:- Kar sewa
Congregation as political system: Sarbat Khalsa
Distribution of Wealth: Vand Shako, Dasvandh is one principle, Guru di golak gareeb da mooh is another.
Idea is of doin things together and hence, building community around the aspects of life which were earlier done individually. Brahmin didn't share food, yogis/buddh believed in obtaining moksha through individualism, Schools, temple/hospitals or other infrastructure were largely built by kings/or rich guys again indviduals, Gurus did it through kar-sewa, same applies for political systems. To me electoral democracy is divisive agent and not good at bringing people together also suffers from short sightedness, we've few example of congregational politics on local level, i.e. sarpanch elected through 'sarb samti'.

Still we are not following the path and teaching about Guru Nanak.
We all are superstitious, and pro castism people.
This month in the Guru Nanak's still people dead due to hunger, poverty, killing, castism, religious based and so on.
Is that only we learn from Guru Nanak Dev ji?

Please do not use any guru sahib photos..as it is not allowed in sikhi, instead use ik ongkar in place of guru sahib’s photos.
Guru sahib have themselves told not to use idols or photos.

Culture of Langar (free food distribution) at temples and at other religious places has been there in Indian subcontinent since time immemorial. As per Vedic culture food donation (feeding people) is the highest level of donation among all kinds of donations.

I respect your emotions paji . But this langar seva is not according to Sikhism , it looks like modern and not real . I saw in Southall Gurudwara sahib . They make their own rules . People are wearing slippers in the Langer hall , they are serving langar like buffets and most of them are also not sitting on flour . You can't do any Seva there . I complaint many times but nothing happen, even they don't take u seriously. I am not against your Seva paji but please don't change our GURU's mariyadas which we should follow any conditions. Sorry if i said anything wrong.
