Can't love this ensemble of outstanding musicians, who have everything going for them, enough! I grew up, as a musician (drummer), when the B3 Hammond Organ was king in the 60s and to hear these cats today, laying down Jazz organ music in such a hip and swingin' fashion is glorious! Powerful good shit!!! The only caveat is that the sound sometimes gets out of sync with the action on this YT video :o(

I saw this trio live about a month ago. Larry Goldings is like 6 foot 10. I think they're using some forced perspective in these videos or something.

Super fine organ ensemble of soulfully hip musicians!!! The only caveat with this video is that the sound is out of sync with the visual!!! Very annoying for the critical viewer like myself!

Bill Stewart's drumming is very intelligent and technical, and his tricky phrases are a great reference for fellow drummers.
However, for me as a listener, his playing is such a cold, sub-zero drumming that I just can't like it.
This is just my personal opinion.

Interesting point... yeah all is subjective... but Bill IS A MONSTER ;)

I agree completely. He's great with Scofield but he's way too busy all the time. His sound is really cold too. Incredible drummer, no hate. You can't fit into everything.
