His textural Drumming & Percussion playing can tell a story without words and tour the world without traveling .
Tribal Tech is at their prime in the latest 3 albums

@SamoSalamonMusic I am biased but I think the drummer interviews are the best! 😊 🥁
Amazing Musician. 🎶
Bring the Bad back, Ethan. We miss you.
😁
Beautiful interview Samo.
Thank you for this ✌️😎👍
I first became aware of Mike Miller when I bought Paint The World which featured a different Elektric Band lineup that was dubbed "mark 2" and he had the massive challenge of following not one but two Elektric Band guitarists but to his credit, he did an amazing job in not trying to copy Henderson and Gambale but bring his own voice to the music. His playing on that album was excellent and i thought he sounded equally as brilliant with Steve Weingart & Renee Jones. Such a sad loss and he definitely left us far too early. Mike Miller was a fantastic guitarist and is dearly missed. RIP 🎸
Me too; paint the world. Carlos Rios also played in Elektric Band.
In memorial.
One of the greatest ever. R.I.P. Maestro. 😞
I saw TT a few times in Dayton & Cincinnati, OH and it was loud but not uncomfortable until the very last time I saw them. The last time I saw them it was so loud that I started feeling sick. I don't remember the stage volume being crazy but the PA system was uncomfortably loud. The entire club was vibrating. I had to stuff my ears with toilet paper and move to the back of the club. They were still incredible though!
☮️🎶🎵🎶🎷
Saying that Willis and Kirk are not Musical and just loud its the most stupid thing that I've heart. I went to see Scott the last summer with his recent band and I left a little sad. Then like two weeks pased and I went to see willis and I was left in shock with excitement. I honestly think that Tribal Tech has always been perfect in terms of timming, musicality and tone. The thing that bugs me out its that Scott is saying nonsense in this interview. I think that this is not the main reason of why the band disolved.
Good chat ! .... I dig Jay's playing ....saw him play here in Sydney in a Trio with Joe Sample & Chad Wackerman .
Artist's don't usually have such opinions as expressed here by your guest. Thanks for keeping it short ✌️😎👍
Kreisberg has a very deep knowledge of jazz harmony and improvisational mechanisms, yet his playing doesn’t sound like he’s forcing that knowledge into it, but rather letting it flow through freely. Some non-musicians may think improvisation is just off-the-cuff playing, but to get to his level you need both countless hours of study, practice and playing.
what keybord is the one wich sounds like a rhodes?
I believe I took drum lessons from Howard Curtis in Hampton when I was in high school. He was also a judge for some Solo and Ensemble contests we had in high school as well...at least... I hope that he is the same person.
Thanks for posting. What a team... I don't know what #4 is but it's certainly not _What I Know Now_

These guys are amazing, I saw them at the vanguard a few years ago.
IMHO... One of the most underrated musicians to ever touch the piano keyboard. Just a brilliant musician.
Je vous dis c'est le meilleur bassiste au monde
That's a trio for yourazz....
Wonderful talk. Thanks!
Awesome thanks for sharing this
i cannot understand if the bass player is super tall or there's a strange perspective effect happening
I believe I saw him with Gary Thomas and Jimmy Masters at a place called Cogan’s in Norfolk, Virginia for like $3. Great interview!

Steve Hunt's latest album with Tim Miller 'Changes' hopefully will rate him; his playing felt like Allan Holdsworth's here and there. Great interview, thank you both.
