Dickies always are great! Do you try another brand to skate with?
Been skating since the 80s so ran through a lot of styles and brands over the years as an old man haha I haven’t been buying much last few years because I have a health condition that has put a damper on a lot of skating - some Levi’s, some carhartt, some dickies that’s about it lately in terms of pants.
@@SOLESERFER I just remember the JNCO pants, do you has ones?
No didn’t mess with jncos …….Guess, Stussy, surf and skate brands in the 80s like JimmyZ, Quiksilver, Gouge then early 90s Girbaud, Dickies, Fuct, Blind Jeans, Gap and Banana Republic chinos and khakis then onto Droors, Polo, Hilfiger & track pants mid to late 90s………
@@SOLESERFER and you ever try enjoi clothes? I know it's more 2000 style but I really like it!
I really haven’t peeped enjoi’s clothing but I will. I still buy random skate brand stuff but as far as pants I think the last I grabbed were some Matix and adidas skateboarding pants I just don’t have the money to spend on clothes anymore and as i age I care less so I stick with some budget Dickies or hit up the sale sections of places.
that EPMD shirt tho!

@@SOLESERFER ooooffffffffff my man
I may get the regular fit skating more my style, the jamie foy dickies feel to big for me and love baggy jeans
I like the regular fit myself.
I always have to get the slim fits because I'm a shorter dude at 5'6" and any of the regular fits look super baggy even if I tailor them myself to make the inseam shorter. Really wish dickies offered a smaller inseam besides 30 on their website lol
@@SooHighFashion I'm in the same exact situation, I want to get the flex on the Dickies website but they only have 30 inseam , I would want a 28 , maybe shrinking them might help
Allow me to tell you how they do it, and it something you probably never noticed. Look at the belt loops, because all they do is place the belt loops above or below the waist line, which is how you get a different fit. It is the same pants, the belt loops are just placed differently. Look at your loops on the 874s, then compare them with the loops on another pair, and you will see the loops on the 874s start at the top of the waist line, and end at the bottom, but the loops on other pairs start at the top, but stop under the waist line. Pretty weird how something as simple as the belt loop placement changes how you wear pants. You can literally see the belt loop differences in this video.
That price is insanely cheap. We pay almost $70 for a dickie pant
That’s wild. Dickies has been the “more affordable” workwear brand here in the US even though their skate line is more expensive than their regular line. You can still get the regular fit twill skate pants for around $45 not on sale and cheaper of u catch a sale. The Tom Knox pants and other pro signature pants are $70-$100 here.
You have a perfect size, hiw do I find a perfect size like that? there always to long on the bottome and they don't have a perfect size for me,ay recommendandation?
If you go on the dickies website they usually have a box you check for length along with waist size. The only unfortunate thing is that many times the 28, & 30 length is sold out so you have to get the 32. You can check the different stock in the different colors because sometimes another color pant may have the length you want in your waist size. I hope this helps. ✌🏼
@@SOLESERFER what size are your pants?
Those are both 33x30 in the vid but the black ones (874 flex) shrank after wash more so they ended up being more like a 29 length in the end whereas the Skate Reg fit shrank less and stayed at a 30 length.
can't find 874 in 33w 36L😢
Yeah the dickies website says it carries 36 length but when I hit the 33 waist on every color it says the 36 length is sold out that’s unfortunate!
What is your height? And what is your size of 874?
I’m 6 ft tall I wear a 33x30 if i want my pants to be a little short and 33x32 if I want my pants to lay on my shoes. I go same size with my 874 but the fit is a little different I do prefer the skate regular fit out of all the dickies pants and the skate double knee is nice for warmer weather because it has a similar fit to the skate refs but lighter weight fabric.
@@SOLESERFER Thanks, I appreciate it
I bought the 874 flex and it’s longer than the regular.. that sucks
Even at the same length size? Usually there’s options for different lengths.
@@SOLESERFER yes. Almost 2 inches longer.
That’s crazy!
