- Pretty clunky, relying a lot on healing items. But I just wanted to get a 1CC down on release day :)
The real challenge in this game is definitely going through without using any ninja gear - and of course I still have a Hard Mode yet to tackle!

I bought this game loving the visuals and original NES game....however I agree with the clunky controls being a game killer! It's so slow paced and I hate the over bloated weapon system (do we really need all this junk?)... The boss battles were a lot of fun at least!
Totally agree. A lot of useless weapons and items...
You skipped all of the secret boxes and hidden areas.
Maybe I could make a different video showcasing those :) I did open a couple of hidden boxes just to showcase them, but I don't use weapons at all, so most of them are useless to me.
I could have gone for the hidden sushi by jumping on the vertical missiles on stage 4, but I had enough healing and that one was really hard for me to pull off.
Are there any other hidden areas you have in mind? There are two items I haven't found, so there's definitely something I must have missed.
