- at the end of a hot and moist day in the netherlands a heavy thunderstorm formed just of the coast of amsterdam. the thunderstorm went over amsterdam towards almere, where i was filming the storm. scattered over the video i captured some great lightning as well. the storm was a few miles away. there was heavy rainfall and large hail just 2 miles from my location.
this video or parts of this video were used in national geographic channel's new series
''how to survive the end of the world'', episode ''monster storm''.
the thunder was continuous and it was never quiet. there were lots of birds whistling as well.
enjoy the video with the good sound of the thunder and birds.
leave comments and thumbs up.
I love the thunder sounds! Especially with the birds to it
One of the best thunderstorm videos I've seen yet on RUclips! The continuous thunder is amazing, not heard that before. Wish some more storms like this would find their way over the English Channel to the UK... Great video, thanks!
it was a couple of years ago. ever since then we have not had any real thunderstorm either. so it is about time for another great one. i am glad you enjoyed the video.
when moisture is very high we get continous thunder
Eerie and weerie more dreary and the sunset/clouds contrast make it almost look like majestic hot-pink skies! Duhh my favy colour!
Nice electrical storm
Thunder and lightning for days and yet very peaceful and soothing to me. What a fantastic thunderstorm and I wish you recorded the whole thing. Thank you for capturing such an awesome thunderstorm on video.😃
Just experienced this for the first time I've heard in my 31yrs in WPG, MB, Canada. I had to Google what was happening! I thought it was a bunch of airplanes at first, never knew thunder could be continuous without even a second inbetween!
Hail storm sound thunder
vind ik altijd het mooist he na een warme dag mooie stormen
Sounds like a distant warzone
i have bought a camcorder last month, to film in much better quality. the weather services are predicting a lot of thunderstorms tomorrow, so i hope to get to film them. so stay tuned.
nice video. Pretty active weather.
Nice, you can fall asleep to all the sounds! We had a severe thunderstorm roll through our city today and the thunder didn't seem to stop, I've never experienced that before, it was cool so I thought I'd google continuous thunder and see what I got. Anyway, great video. Thank you
VERY NICE!! 👍👍 ⛈
NOnstop storm, distant rumbling thunder, feint birds, this is how I feel since I lost my son... lost & overwhelmed, waiting for the rain to break... me...
Yeah i'm surprised they didn't in your video haha...great video
I live in Oklahoma, this is a yearly experience often happening many times in a few short summer months.
We are just happy when they do not produce tornadoes.
Modern Patriot yeah, i visited florida in the summer a few years ago, and i was stunned by how powerful the weather can be there. Here in the netherlands we hardly have severe weather.
je zo tijdens het schemeren is het op het mooist. dit is vorig jaar of 2 jaar geleden dat ik dit heb gefilmd.
Just experienced this continuous thunder for the first time myself. It lasted for a continuous 20 minutes. Weird.
+amrich1000 it is weird at first, but awesome as well!
Nice, you can fall asleep
yeah it was a great combo, the peace of the birds and the approacing thunderstorm. most of the time the birds would start hiding, but not this time.
i uploaded the video in april, but the thunderstorm was last summer.
i filmed it in the netherlands, europe. we do not have much nice thunderstorms or severe weather here, so this was a pretty nice thundersorm.
We had a storm similar to this in Boston Lincolnshire on the 27/8/18 it was continue lightning severe thunder.
we don't get as much active weather as the united states and a lot of other countries, but this thunderstorm was pretty severe for the netherlands.
what do you mean with st louis?
St. Louis?
icannot find that video in your archive. i filmed this t storm with a photo camera. the quality is not the best, but this one came out very well. last week i have even been approached by a media corporation, tu use this video in an episode for a new series on national geographic channel. it should be on air in the fall. i also gave them permission tu use another video of mine, which is also on youtube. a heavy thunderstorm with a very awesome storm structure, check that one out.
