@rayjames303 Malakoi refers to “softness.” A couch can be soft, and apparently, someone from the male gender can also be soft. The NIV translates malakoi as “male prostitutes.” The male prostitute was “soft” because he took the passive role in sexual relations with other men.
Paul made up the word arsenokoitai. It was never used before Paul in any writing of the ancient world. It comes from two Greek words that mean “man” and “bed.” Paul did not define the meaning of this term. It is generally agreed upon by scholars that when it came to same sex activity, the arsenokoitai took the more active role. The NIV chooses to translate this word as “homosexual offenders.”
Conservative and liberal scholars both say there has been a lot of debate about what these words actually mean.
If, in God’s providence, God wanted to make sure that we knew homosexuality was a sin, God would have inspired Paul to coin the word “homosexuality” instead of arsenokoitai. Then God would have clearly defined the word through Paul as “two men or two women living in a same-sex committed relationship.”
But neither Paul nor God defined the term arsenokoitai.

Asking someone to repent for harming others is very different than asking them to repent for being with a person that they have so deeply fallen in love with. Please stop lumping the two together and saying that we don't have the right to be SO incredibly hurt when you tell us that we need to embrace the dehumanizing process of repenting for the most special part of ourselves: our ability to give and receive LOVE.

If any church doesn't preach about repentance and what God calls sins and abominations you better run away from them as fast as you can. I do agree on letting people to come as they wish, we don't change people is the Holy Spirit job to highlight the sinful parts or someone's life so they can surrender them to Christ and the work can start.

It very much sounds like condemnation. And I want to impress upon you the fundamental distinction between scripture and scriptural interpretation.
You’re not following God’s rules, you are following your interpretation of God’s rules. That is all any of can do of course but in this case I will remind you that you don’t even follow most of those rules, Christians don’t observe Mosaic law and they don’t have too.
Not that there is any condemnation in scripture of homosexuality that isn’t highly dependent on assumptions.

Jesus responds that one must be born again (he must die to sin and be raised as a new creation with Christ Jesus). If one does not die to sin how can he then be born again. This is why Jesus gave his life so that the Father's wrath would be satisfied. How can we then say that sin and salvation are not connected.

DENY YOURSELF means not doing what's good in your eyes or in human's standard, but what's good in Lord's eyes. Even if it seems to be good for you, very pleasuring etc. but if it's not good for the Lord, then you must DENY yourself.
PICK UP YOUR CROSS means to be Jesus's follower is not easy. It'll be heavy and you will suffer. Sometimes people will hate you and you will be persecuted.
FOLLOW ME means to live in His commandments and words.
But who can say what's good in the Lord's eyes? Everything is so flip-floppy and wishy-washy that it's functionally just humans using a god to embolden themselves, not deny.

Now because we are all sinners we need to go to Jesus and when we do we will repent and trust in him that he will pay the price of our sins and when trusting I'm him fully something I can only describe as a miracle makes you love righteousness and despise evil as does the heavenly father.
So in other words go to Jesus Christ who died for our sins, repent of your sins which means to be sorry and turn from them, then trust in him fully that he will pay the fine of your sins and once that happens you will be born again in spirit. You will love righteousness and despise evil.

I think a lot of people are confused. Yes Jesus talked with sinners and sat with them. He was never a part of them. He loved and cared for them, it doesn't mean because he loved them dearly he said their sins were okay. He was with them to talk to them about their sins, about their inequities and how God wanted them to enter his kingdom. That's exactly what he would do if he was here. There comes a time when you should activate a sense of civic duty or human kindness/compassion without having to be told to do so.
The bible should be a book to establish a personal connection with god, not a book to follow rules with. Religion is a very, very personal experience as someone can't show to me the connection they have with god, I cannot touch it nor see it nor taste it. Since the Holy Spirit is in me and we watched this we both were grieved this bothers me so much I was in the LGBTQ community and Now I'm saved God gave me a testimony to show who he is! Yes, we should have compassion and love for the drunks, for the addicts, for homosexuals, even for pedophiles and murderers... The whole point of Salvation is that, by repentance, with the power you get from the Holly Spirit, based of Jesus’s death and resurrection - who redeemed us, you become a new being, a new creature, you are being set free. You can not pull a couple of scriptures out of context and make a doctrine out of them. Jesus also told people to go and sin no more. He called people out for their Sin , and his biggest enemies were the religious crowd , who eventually had him killed to get rid of him. Christians are to Love the person and not the Sin. We are not to allow people living in open sin to hold appointment, in our congregations, or to teach others. They are to sit under the word. Sin is a Spiritual Death Sentence. If Christians do not pray and encourage Sinners to change their ways, then what is the purpose of Salvation? the Bible teaches explicitly against Homosexuality as it does many other Sins. All of them will cause a person to go to hell. The point is to be as close to Jesus as we can be, and take on his Character. All sin corrupts. These people need deliverance. Plus, homosexuals are not born that way or else they wouldn’t have to blame it on God when they say “I was born this way” which simply makes it God’s fault, which is not true. Because that would be like saying a murderer was born a murderer, and just because they have murderous thoughts and feelings doesn’t mean they have to murder someone, well same with homosexuality. Homosexuals are not born that way because Christ said all children go to heaven, so basically how can a sinful child whose gay go heaven which is sinless? They can’t. Plus, if a person was born gay then it would be fine because that would mean God did it, and then why do homosexuals feel guilty to tell people? Because in their conscience they are convicted of their sin and that’s why they try to justify it or feel relieved by saying “I was born this way” which is not true. So, anyways, God said “love thy neighbor as thyself” correct, but that does not mean you have to love their sin. It’s simple as this, you love your family right? Do you have sex with them? No. You can love the same gender and not have sex with them. Plus, we are called to love any and everyone, but their is a big difference between loving the person and the sin. You are supposed to love the person and hate the sin. The Bible also simply states
