  • In this video watch my family and I build a wooden Christmas tree that stands 7 feet tall! It was commissioned by a good family friend and hopefully lasts for generations versus a few years like those plain green artificial trees. I hope you enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed the many hours or work. Thanks for watching! Merry Christmas and God Bless!

I appreciate that you don’t claim to know everything. That is especially great for those who are new to woodworking. Beginners and intermediate workers want to accomplish these wood projects but likely can’t afford to buy the ‘fancy’ tools that so many channels promote. Great job and thank you for stepping out of your comfort zone to inspire others.

Thank you so much! We all were new at one time… I have learned so much in the past 5 years it’s amazing. It just takes building projects small and large. It takes minimal tools to make. Fancy tools just make the job easier and faster…

Please Refresh memory on tools at that price? I made this video a while back… Did i mention the 21 dollar miter saw? I find good deals all the time via always looking in Marketplace. Heck, you wouldn’t believe how many tools and wood I have gotten for free or nearly free…for instance, i bought 4 hand planes worth 1200 before tax for 50 dollars…. Thanks for watching!

How did you get your saw so cheap?

Someone finally asked lol. It’s a long story and prob not what you expect because I did not get at a yard sale… my grandmother purchased me a ridgid for a job I was completing for her many years ago and it never cut square. I took it for maintenance multiple times at a repair shop near me and they supposedly fixed it every time. The shop closed down so i then took to Home Depot and they charge me 21 dollars and change to ship it off. It came back and I showed the manager the problem and showed them information that the saw was now obsolete and the parts i needed were not made. It cut square without using the slide. As soon as you use the slide it bowed. I then had to take it to a different home depot and 2 months later a new saw was shipped to me. So i only paid a little over 20 bucks for it. I really have gotten really good deals on my tool’s except for the sawstop and jessem router. For instance, I bought 4 new hand planes for 50 bucks also…. Thanks for watching!
