The city needs to do something like building express lanes and local lanes with a median or double decker style. Fewer red lights for the express lanes and keep the traffic lights for the local lanes, build some pedestrian bridges also. Trying to split through all those lanes of cars to get from one side of Cicero to the other from the residential streets is always stressful

True! The traffic is particularly painful on Cicero Ave.
Too costly and with the city in financial trouble not likely anytime soon.
