Whoever decided to build this city here was a genius. Huge fresh water lake, two rivers, fertile flat land with all the ecosystems, far from natural disasters and oceans. Basically its an oasis, paradise in the middle of the country
@TheTravelDocket Thankfully winter only last 2 months, January and February. Decembers are a mixed bag now. We've had a several 40s and 50s. It's only snowed once, barely
I don't live in Chicago and I never been to Chicago but just seeing all these driving tour videos I'm in love and I'm really surprised Chicago has always gotten a bad rap for crime and stuff and looking horrible it looks beautiful there ❤.
Just like any other city it's got its great areas and bad areas. There are some nagborhoods that you wouldn't find me in even if you payed me. But downtown and other areas are so cool.
