Review would be alot more useful if you could have provided swingweight as the racquet is one that really needs some lead.
Wow… I’ve been playing with the lab 300 since its inception… And with much success..even though I’m the antithesis of the player you recommend for this racket: a senior 4.0 singles player, ohb, can hit with spin but still hits flat ( a lot) , compact swing….
Now my question is this. If I get a backup 300, should I go for the lab or the final version. Is there a discernible difference???
There’s arguably a tiny shift in balance but it’s almost imperceptible. Other than that, the specs are the same. We couldn’t tell the difference when playing so think you’re safe buying either. It’s worth remembering that all rackets have a variability (unless you’re buying set pairs) so the difference could be greater even if you went for the Lab version
9:47 The racket is rock solid with a few grams of lead tape in the hoop/handle. It transforms it. That's what you should be saying in your review. As least that way more people are likely to be buy as its not difficult to spend £5 on some lead tape.
Do you not think maybe the review is of the racket, as is - not what it could be with customisation? Seems weird to review a racket and go, well If you change this racket it plays differently! Surely then you just buy another racket….
Agree with this. Racquet definitely needs lead and it does play significantly better as a result.
Seems like you've been eating lead tape, seeing your comments on this video
@@jstokes55 Not really. Sometimes release racquets will ridiculously low swing weight but everything else is otherwise good.
Yep racquet needs some simple customisation to bring the best out of it. Stock SW is far too low. Major omission in the review not mentioning that.
This racquet definitely is NOT comfortable. I actually like the way the racquet plays (with some lead tape added) as it does a bit of everything but it is definitely stiff on the arm.
Are you a lead tape salesman? 😂
Tell me soft strings for the arm and have good durability
Multifilament tend to be softer. Wilson Sensation, Tecnifibre NRG2, Babolat Xcel - to name a few of MANY options
Try prince Power XP on it. You wont have trouble.
Absolutely hopeless review...
Why’s that Googlereviewer1994? We always want to improve so a touch more insight would be appreciated
You guys should stop talking about how a racquet looks in your reviews because its so subjective, its just a waste of time. People will make up their own minds on the looks.
Buddy its literally just their opinion. Its their video and they can include what they want. Honestly this comment made me laugh
Waste of time talking about the looks in a review. Most people have eyes that they can use themselves...
