    Thanks for the excellent podcast.
I changed from Wilson Ultra to the Clash 98 Pro V2 this year, and it has made tennis so fun. No more arm issues like with the Ultra. Better control with 16 × 20 (which surprised me a lot). The Clash has made for a really enjoyable experience when playing for several hours.
I love the direction that the Shift is heading and and I commend Wilson for experimenting like this to push racket design. Will look to try it out when I get the chance.

I play with the Tecnifibre T-Fight 305 ISO. I gave a few tennis lessons using the Shift 315. I must say that I was quite pleased… to me me the “Shift” is everything the “Clash” isn’t. I didn’t have any worries about over hitting the ball whereas with the Clash I found myself holding back.

I hit with the Shift 99 pro for a half hour right after my PS97v13.
I’ve been building an easy looping swing in my practices and this racquet markedly responds to that action with a grab and snap on the ball with free power while being just slightly less accurate than the Pro Staff.
I feel like the more gracefully you swing, the more this racquet builds power, like it’s winding up through an arc.
    It likes infinity loops.
I’m probably getting one. I can’t stop thinking about it.

Amazing podcast and topics- congrats! Considering newer environmental concerns I wonder if a podcast on tennis ball recycling projects, eco string, presureless tennis balls etc can be an idea for the near future. There are a lot of local chapters and programs that can be discussed and interviewed. Have a great weekend and tennis!

I’m struggling to pick a racket to upgrade from Clash 100 v1. I want more power and control with slightly higher weight without being too hard on my arm. I don’t know if I should go for Shift 99 or Blade v9, 100 or 98 16x19. Any recommendation?

Have you considered trying the Clash 98? Especially if you love that Clash feel, that would be one I would suggest trying! And if possible, can you demo? Throw the Clash 98, Shift 99 and Blade 98 16x19 in a demo order and see what you like best!

@@tenniswarehouse Surprised you suggested the Blade 98 over the 100 for someone looking for more power than a Clash?

I’m an advanced player who hits with alot of topspin. One handed backhand. I used the extreme tour graphene.
So, i like to swing fast and have a loopy stroke. So, would you recommend the 300 or the 315? The spin generation is much more in the 300?
I tried the 300 prototype months ago and liked it but don’t know if the 315 is much more stable. .

      @adriellepretre9047
If you are looking for something that swings fairly similar and has the most spin potential, I would lean toward the Shift 300 as it has a very comparable swingweight and a more open pattern than the heavier Pro version. We found the 300-gram Shift to be a stable option and it would be an easy transition. But, if you have the ability to demo, we would recommend doing so and giving them both a try!

@@tenniswarehouse how does the Shift 300 compare to the Tfight iso 300? I tried the Shift 300 prototype. I have not tried the ISO.
I demo some rackets but usually I have to but them to try them as I live in Puerto Rico.

The TFight ISO 300 is a solid racquet! I find the Shift racquets offer a unique, plush, pocketing experience while the ball feels more in and out of the string bed with the TFights. Both are great options and the TFight might be a bit easier to find more spin and arc on your shots with a bit more mass behind the ball. The Shift has a slightly thicker beam as well.

@@tenniswarehousethank you for the response. I’m trying the tfight this week and later on possibly the shift. Both seem as good choices. Let’s see when I hit with them. Have a Happy Christmas season!

The tfight seems more suitable to what I’m looking for but the shift is an interesting racket also.

Can you expect the Shift to deliver more “pocketing” feel when hitting heavy spin compared to traditional semi-soft racquet? What I mean, with typical dense pattern 60+ RA racquet you feel it pillow/spaghetti plush, or rubbery, or catapulty in a way when hitting more through the ball, but more boardy, thin and muted when applying steep swings. Does Shift technology equal this out more, or it’s not the case?

Please Wilson. Just remake blade v5 lineup. Best blade and one of the best racquets ever created. Too much of power, too much of feel and NO ARM issues at all even with the old tech back then (2015)….. you created the best racquet and then you produced CV (mediocre feel) and then you gone even backwards with the low powered blades v7 and v8….. which they also don’t come close to Blades V5 ball connection / feedback. Now that you have made blades low powered you opened your lineup for shift….. pfff…..
