I wish Astro Bot was out already. I NEED IT
i can’t wait for this. looks like a platforming dream
I like the good fun little games, bit of a side track from some of the longer ones, and help fill in gaps between some of the bigger ones. Sometimes I was want to chill and relax without playing a complex game. I remember gaming in the early years, when games lasted a few hours at best - mainly because saving was not an option
And maybe. Just maybe. When they see that this works. They see they could bring back more older platformer franchises like Sly Cooper and Jak&Daxter. 🎉
PS1 PS2 started all the diversity. I understand the PS3 is your NES. Lol
Ps1 was cool but Ps2 had literally anything you’d want. Nothing will ever beat that gen of gaming.
@@worlds_greatest_detective6667 Yup. Clearly that has been the case. Especially nowadays. It’s definitely the best era for PlayStation. As someone who grew with PlayStation in every generation.
I'd definitely hear you with PS2. It had quite literally everything lol. PS3 was my favorite but PS2 was the objective best one.
Super excited going to pre order Astro bot

The development time statements are misguided, are you considering playroom being a rock solid base to build the new game off of? They're not making this game from scratch which includes reusing *some* assets and animations from playroom which cuts down on dev time and budget by a good amount.
A ground up Sly cooper game is *not* that at all and indicates nothing of similar circumstance when it comes to making a brand new title from scratch. Also 5 to 7 million lifetime I just don't see the game selling, maybe 3+ million by the end of generation (2028) including discounts sure and even then that might be pushing it.
5 million sales would be a success imo. From what the previewers are saying, this game is one of the best platformers of all time.
With 60 people and 3 years? 3 million would be a success.
5 million is not happening *especially* at full price. It has a good chance for at least 1 or 2 million in that regard.
