Any displacement cruiser bike without an ABS is an outright dangerous proposition for any sort of bad weather. Especially for a beginner rider who doesn't know how to properly load front end. Which is far from trivial on a cruiser.
The list you always show for EU-licenses is actually not quit correct. An A1 licens can be aquires by age 16 and A2 by 18, A can be aquired 2 years after the A2 or 24 as your first license!
It’s no secret that motorcycling is in decline in North America. I think the issue may be that bikes have become too much for most people. Too much weight, too fast, too dangerous, too scary, and most of all too much money. I’m old enough to remember the day when the most popular sport bikes were the Yamaha RD 350, and its main competition the excellent KH400 two-stroke triple from Kawasaki. Man - I miss those days!.
So I’m going to get my first bike soon and I’m looking at a ninja 500 or a zx-4r. I can get the 500 for around 6000 and the zx4r for around 7200. Is it worth it to pay the extra 1200 to get a zx4r or should I just stick with a ninja 500 for my first bike.
7200 otd?! Im biased, I bought a 400 before the zx4 came out, so I don’t have any experience with it, but from videos and stats, it appears the 400 can basically keep up with the zx4 until the zx obviously outrevs the 400. -Same torque -Needs ECU flash to make more power in NA +Inline 4 sound +Great in between for Street and Track, just like the 400 I think for 7200, the zx4r is a steal.
Lame fact: rs 660 does not come with smartphone connectivity from the factory. It's an add on part that costs several hundred dollars and is garbage when listening to music (constant audio drops)

The aprilia RS125 two stroke, making around 30 BHP and weighing nothing in comparison to these new heavy weigh beginner bikes!
Whats your opinion on getting a ktm 690 sm / Husqvarna 701 as a first bike , im reasonablly responsible and i would eventually buy and stick to this bike anyways 😂
Wish we could get the 2024 Husqvarna 401 in the US, great keeper beginner there
we can thaught ? i saw one right in my hometown dealership ?
@@edouard.1360 That's amazing, everyone else has been told they are held up in customs since around May and could possibly hit dealers as a 2025 model. If you've got one local you've got a unicorn, i'd grab that thing up!
Maybe inventory is not there because dealers are still crazy.
I'm near Dallas and can't find a reasonable price on a Ninja 500 or ZX6R. Reasonable meaning MSRP without absurd fees
I found a dealer in AZ that had good prices but then quoted me $5,600 to have it shipped (not a typo), literally more than $5/mile 🤣
Happy with my 2024 R3
the old rebel 250's are known as cb 250's in Australia and some other parts of the world the rebel moniker really hit the rest of the world with the rebel 500 and 1100 respectively back in 2017 that's why you cant really find the old rebel 250 in other parts of the world because they weren't rebels yet they had to grow a bit more and i don't really include the 300 due to it no being available in Australia where I'm from
i want a cafe racer but my dad will only get those sport bikes like kawasaki ninja
what should i do
accept my fate or live with no cruiser
Im 5ft4 whats the cheapest you can recommend?
I took the MSF on the Honda 250 years ago
Has anyone looked at the Bikes made by a company called Benda? Chinese motorcycles that I've read should be available in the US soon if not now.
Any displacement cruiser bike without an ABS is an outright dangerous proposition for any sort of bad weather. Especially for a beginner rider who doesn't know how to properly load front end. Which is far from trivial on a cruiser.
Should i get zx4rr
most definitely
I’m going to get a Ducati 698 HyperMotard as my first bike. I grew up riding dirt bikes and I rode a friend’s 300cc bike and it was so slow….
I think he's talking about starter bikes, not $18000 otd dirt bikes
@@logangodofcandy the 698 is $12k… and I’d say that it is a high end beginner bike… just like an MT-07… pretty close power…
I'm leaning towards a busa just because they fit my body alot better as a tall rider
If I remember correctly Aprilia RS450 is designed and manufactured in India not Italy.
I want the Eliminator
I want to buy a cf moto 450 ss/rs but i can’t find any in Belgium 😢
I believe a CBR-1000RR-R SP Fireblade is a fine beginner motorcycle.
I cant wait to get my first street bike
Im still waiting on the Busa 250! 😂
Busa 隼
Can i buy from a dealer if I'm planning on using it ss my daily
honda has an 2024 cbr600rr and that mf is sweet!!!!! packed with features and electronics like the zx6r except it has quick shifter up and down
Dealer fees are ironically the cause of deals to fall through on new inventory bikes.
Well…..
Beginner bike or not….
I purchased a 2024 Suzuki GSX 8S….
Just turned over 1100 miles.
First bike ever.
Endorsing cfmoto?
So I’m going to get my first bike soon and I’m looking at a ninja 500 or a zx-4r. I can get the 500 for around 6000 and the zx4r for around 7200. Is it worth it to pay the extra 1200 to get a zx4r or should I just stick with a ninja 500 for my first bike.
7200 otd?! Im biased, I bought a 400 before the zx4 came out, so I don’t have any experience with it, but from videos and stats, it appears the 400 can basically keep up with the zx4 until the zx obviously outrevs the 400.
-Same torque
-Needs ECU flash to make more power in NA
+Inline 4 sound
+Great in between for Street and Track, just like the 400
I think for 7200, the zx4r is a steal.
the zx4r is faster than the 400 once u get an flash and tune
A new feature I DON'T like on my new beginner bike is that the headlights are always on and can't be turned off.
Might be a legal requirement depending on the where you live.
Cut the wire and install a toggle switch
Lame fact: rs 660 does not come with smartphone connectivity from the factory. It's an add on part that costs several hundred dollars and is garbage when listening to music (constant audio drops)
I will take yamaha R3 any day over any other beginner bikes.
Yamaha is just soooo 🤌🏿🔥🔥 because of R6 and specially old models with big headlight
Forget trikes, trikes kits seeing more of them
Where's the clapped out 'busa?
Ima Stack A Bunchs Cashh And Get A 675RS (CFMoto)
Blessed to be german. At least our new riders get a proper education and the license actually means a damn.
That map in the 'final thoughts' proves the Earth is flat. I dont see any curves, its the same when i unfold and place my 'Atlas worldmap' on the table. Its flat!
at least you aren't stuck pm 125cc for 2 years xD
Talk about bajaj
50 minutes ago is crazy
yammie sir please come to India and make some vlog ...... please buy a R1M for yourself please ...... i love you
I'm just trying to find that perfect R3 or Ninja 400 for ~4k. Cant even test ride a 500 because my local dealer doesnt let 19 year olds test ride bikes!
Smart dealer
@@logangodofcandy You could definitely see it that way. They're also not going to get my money🤷
@@Nopenotreally.that’s how it was for me I bought a ninja 400 in 2018 right before I turned 18 and no one would let me test ride. Now I don’t go to any dealer that won’t let me ride one.
@@garboi8976 I'm just going to have to wait until I find a deal on marketplace that I like and have cash in hand in order to test ride. I refuse to buy something before I actually get to feel how it rides.
bro learned a new word, superfluous LOL
