- MARK JACKSON who plays the resident friendly Kaylon, Isaac on THE ORVILLE: NEW HORIZONS joins us for an interview to talk about what the future of The Orville may be. What's left in Season 3? What about Season 4? ...and what's left for Isaac?
The Orville had to deal with a global pandemic, an acquisition by Disney and a nearly three year hiatus before being picked up by the new streaming service, and entering the 'New Horizon', but from what we've seen this season, it has been well worth the wait.
During the interview, Mark talks about how amazing the fans have been this season, the tremendous support he's gotten, getting the lion's share of dramatic storylines, and being a positive advocate for the LGBTQ+ community through the show.
Set 400 years in the future, “The Orville: New Horizons” finds the crew of the U.S.S. Orville continuing their mission of exploration, as they navigate both the mysteries of the universe and the complexities of their own interpersonal relationships.
The ensemble cast includes Seth MacFarlane, Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, J Lee, Chad L. Coleman, Jessica Szohr and Anne Winters.
“The Orville: New Horizons” is produced by 20th Television and Fuzzy Door. The series was created and written by Seth MacFarlane. MacFarlane, Brannon Braga, David A. Goodman, Jon Cassar, Jason Clark and Howard Griffith serve as executive producers.
