After getting so much positive feedback on my airsoft gameplay videos I decided it was time to reveal my secrets and explain my action camera setup for airsofting! I personally use the Gopro action cameras as do many other airsoft gameplay channels. So this video mainly revolves around that idea and those series of cameras.

I just found your channel and you got your self a subscriber. I would love to see your color grading tutorial/thoughts. Similar to you, I am pursuing some career in terms of free lance and film and owning a business while also playing airsoft. As im only 17, I've primarily focused on the airsoft stuff but I would love to learn how to take it to the next level with good color grading. While I know some basics and film in as flat a profile as my Hero 6 allows me too, I still feel like my videos can be sub par in this regard. I edit on FCPX, so sadly not as much 3D/Animation stuff available on there but still a pretty great software for the majority of stuff I do.

How would you recommend someone goes about self-teaching basics of videography (I say basics but more intermediate not just the process of putting clips together and putting music in the back) particularly for airsoft? I’m looking to start doing gameplay videos after lockdown🤔 always really impressed with your production👏🏼👏🏼
Hey man! Yeah I really appreciate it! Honestly RUclips is an incredible knowledge database I learned 95% of what I know from RUclips tutorials. If you would like I can make a video on how to create airsoft videos specifically 👍🏻 but there are tons of tutorials on camera settings, editing tips and how to insert audio. Hope that helps 🎉

what is your recommended cases for the max, I'm trying to do some 360 shots in airsoft and dont want a risk of it being damaged
I ordered a ton of the lens protectors from Gopro, and also a metal housing from eBay. Also make sure you have something to protect the touch screen. I used a red dot sight protector. 👍🏻
where did you get the helmet?

I use basically just the default settings, Gopro Colour and limit your ISO to around 1600 👍🏻

How well does the GoPro case stand against bbs? I’m afraid of buying a expensive camera because I play almost only cqb and the chances of the camera getting shot is fairly high.
Yeah man for sure! I would highly suggest using a case when use Ing the GoPros. If you don’t they will definitely get damaged. But if you use it it shouldn’t 👍🏻

What about problems with them getting shot out? I want to start recording gameplay, but I am scared to buy a new go pro for good footage when I have seen them get blasted out of oblivion. I know the session 5 has aftermarket bb proof stuff, but it doesn't have stability features. I really dont know man pls help.
Yeah just make sure you have some sort of protector on the lens and screen. That’s really the only things that need protection. You can look for protectors on amazon 👍🏻
Do you have any tips ot suggested case to prevent the gorpo lense from cracking
Unfortunately I don’t have any recommendations here, cracking lenses is just something that happens, just make sure you have back ups! 😂👍🏻 definitely run a housing on your GoPro though. Don’t run them without any case.

Ive got a hero5 session...was wondering if you had any idea if the “waterproof cases” that go on ebay could protect them from bbs...ive seen a lot of vids online on shattered gopros and i hope to not join the club lol.

eila just received my “waterproof case” and shot around 10 bbs on each side of the case and only ended up with 1 tiiiiiiny dent on the front so...im sticking to this rather than risking the gopro itself
If your gopro gets hit, is it going to be a high chance of it getting damaged?
