Ok I know I’m late but I need help here!!! Can I just keep the case the way it is and it won’t break the lens if it gets shot? I’m fine if it breaks the case I just don’t want the lens to break. ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL HELP!
no. with the newer gopros it can happen. Especially if you have them not mounted on a helmet and its close to your head. 4k footage just creates heat at this time there is no way around it - you have to deal with it.
it should be fine, mabye a little tiny bit of unshapness - though I dont do it like that anymore. I just use the gopro housing and if it breaks, what happened a while ago in a cqb arena, i just buy a new housing and switch out the caselenses.
Do you have any modifications to get better sound quality for your GoPro? I have a hero 4, and the protective case makes the audio extremely muffled and awful. How do you get such good sound quality in your gameplay?
Hey dude, yeah like shown in the video I cut holes into the housing where the microphones are. So I dont get the muffled sound. Also it helps to record in Protune and turn the wind reduction off! It just makes everything sound like a coca cola can. You also could try adding a wind screen/ deadcat do your housing. There are a lot of tutorials here on youtube as well :) Hope that helps! Cheers, Phoenix
Thanks I tried the 1080@60fps and it looked great,so I put it on RUclips as private for a test and the video was terribly blurry. How do I get it to look clear on RUclips like your videos?
@@VitorCoelho56 well, it's been awhile, so I don't remember if there was anything else I ended up having to do, but if my memory serves me correctly it was more of a problem on my end with RUclips just picking the lowest resolution to play the video at, but if I manually selected to play the video at a higher quality it looked fine.
So your conclusion was don't go to all that trouble making a "great" looking case, rather just buy a new one because it will look better when recording. Cheers mate.
@@PhoenixFeatherAirsoft "I have to be honest guys. I don't use this lense protection, I'm fine with the case itself. If this case breaks I just buy a new case, it's cheap enough. I just don't want an extra layer in front of the sensor." Try going plant based for the sake of your brain.
Very well done tutorial
thx mate! means a lot ;)
PhoenixFeatherAirsoft would it work for the GoPro hero 2?
Yo what's up Rev

I would probably shoot it close range with the m4. I will actually do that as soons as my cheap case arrives.
I can't imagine using that saw😂but this is a very helpful video thank you just in time for me spray painting my case and helmet today
awesome!
Yes mate! this is what was needed
I did this today.
Now i am set!
Awesome tutorial bro. But what the hell do you have as a saw? :D
its a japanese saw ;)
Tolles Tutorial, werde ich auf jeden Fall auch probieren :)
Did it overheat sometimes?

Aight so tomorrow I start drilling lmao 🤣
what a great tutorial bro! keep up the good work!
thanks man! glad I could help out!
Have you done any testing to the case before using it at the field? If yes, what fps, bb and range?
no, but it holds.
This is amazing👌
thx man! Glad you like it!
Very helpful it is like the only video so far that shows this. I will definitely useless for my channel.
thx dude! It works like a charm!
Thanks a lot, good tutorial ;)
Sure dude, no problem! Glad you liked it! Cheers, Phoenix!
Was this your first time using tools?
almost

Perfekt. Die Löcher helfen da sehr! Gameplay kommt demnächst!
I know if the "lens" on the housing gets shot, it will shatter but will the bb travel through and shatter the actual lens too?
no, it will not :) Experienced it myself!
but does it work?
Hell yeah dude! Ive been using it ever since! Worked like a charm - Even with the evolution of Gopro 5 & 6 etc.
@@PhoenixFeatherAirsoft ok thanks for replyin
Any problems with overheating? While being in case ?
isnt the action cam case already polycarbonate? why add another lens?
Do you think this case would work in paintball?
absolutely yes!
Thanks for this vid will be doing this
thanks! It works perfectly!
Sorry to bug you but it seems like the footage wouldn't be that good sense it has the stuff on the lens

thanks brother!

Nice !!
Ohne lenscover?
Welche casing ist das, bei meinem muss die lense ab gemacht werden.
Ist von Amazon. Link ist in der Videobeschreibung
Hey what resolution and fps would you recommend for a gopro head mount?
1080p with 60fps

what if i have a full head covering paintball mask thing its a JT Flex 8 Full Head Coverage please help with some mounting options
Getting a GoPro today can’t wate
thats awesome! Go out and shoot now!!!!!
I should have the glass because I bought my go pro by myself and it took 1yr of working my butt off
use saw for metal cutting
und die Linse ist wirklich geschützt? Keine BB bricht durch?
Da kommt nix durch!
How about start drilling with a small drill in stead of a big one in plastic 😬😬
didn't have one. Use the stuff you have on hand!
That is one evil mother f%€&ing saw :)
Loved the video but turning the volume up and down again and again its annoying as fuck...
Gutes Review, aber ich glaube nen ordentlicher Dremmel häts besser getan ;)

no just buy a new one if the protective glass breaks. Then use the new protective glass to replace the broken one on the modified case.

Noooo you murdered that poor case! :c
it had it coming... :P
if only you had a rotatory cut tool, this would have been so easy :/
oh man I know! Also a better saw hahahah
Krokodil Paintjop 😀😂
ja sowas zwichen snakeskin und was auch immer :)
why ruin the waterproof case when they sell what u are trying to do on amazon for like $12
because it still protects the front housing, including the lcd ;)
Give it to me becuase i dont have money
anyone else cringe when hes drilling side ways??
