Last weekend I was wearing a mesh mouth guard and I got hit right in the face and the bb shattered and went into my mouth, I was thinking, damn what if it was my eyes
I work with real firearms lot and airsoft gun replicas like the one showing in the video are perfect trainers because if you accidentally happened to shoot someone you won’t kill them
Our field is VERY strict when it comes to magazines in safe zones. I saw a guy getting kicked out the second he left the game, his holstered pistol still had the mag in it...
that might be little strict. It can always happen, that while you are walking back in the safezone you are engaged in conversations (about your recent killstreak).....
eye pro is the biggest, when i was like 13 yo i got smoked in the eye luckily it was with a cheaper spring pistol but i still lost vision in one eye and had to wear an eye patch and take 3-4 different eye drops every 3-4 hours to save my vision.
My biggest problem with most airsoftguns is that the only way to clear it is to shoot the bb that's allready in it there is no safe way to "take the round out of the chamber" some pistols allow you to pull the slide back and dropp that 1 bb out but most airsoftguns won't
Remember: Most of the time less gear means more fun! If you can't feel when bb's hit you with your plate carrier, change for something lighter, you may look less tacticool but your mind will not wander about calling your hits.
The missing your shots thing is so real. One dude somehow missed me point blank and ran past me then I killed the dude just the other day. Or people somehow hit the gun (to be clear these fields don’t count hitting the gun as a death or anything)
Yes, especially with your backup, people tend to be very very bad at accuracy (me included). Thats also why the bang rule sometimes is so frustrating. Instant aim bot hit!
It sucks that some sites prohibit you from calling out to your enemy when they ignore hits which in turn, encourages them to cheat. Which also in turn encourages me to full-auto dump them and bring the honesty out of them.
I was in cqb and i was right next to a guy and we were both spraying each other from point blank and could not hit each other so we just had to call a trade
Also, if you aren’t sure if you got hit just call it an hit. To avoid being accused of cheating if this happens too often people might start avoid playing with you. Don’t want that to happen ^^
The real issues, you can't wear a helmet or headset and if your optic lacks a riser you basically can't look through it. Most iron sights you can't get your face low enough with a dye mask.
Misconception that bbs shatter on mesh goggles. Any "bb shards" are paint/powder coating on the mesh. Even some of the worst quality BBs that have been exposed humidity for significant time haven't shattered upon impact, even when shot above the normal site limits (at the UK law limits for non automatic replicas) and required significant force to crush with pliers
Id also recommend decent protection for your teeth. Very expensive to replace. That's why I prefer going down the speedsoft route and spent my money on a dye mask. They're also very flexible so easy to see down sights.
During my most recent match I shot all of my sniper magazines at a dude. After I ran out, I called my friend over and he shot all of his ammo at him too, while I was watching with my 10x binoculars. That dumbass didn't call at least 100 hits in a row. After the match we had a chit-chat, and he had the audacity to claim he didn't feel the .40 😂
@@PhoenixFeatherAirsoft because you can’t predict where it will go after the impact to the ground! Same with real steel gun! You could hit a friend with the bb, you could hit a stone on the ground and then it could make damages to something or somene… too much WRONG possibility… remember that the bb could brake himself on strong surface and this is worse… ps: sorry for my english, i’m italian! 😉
@@xRico007x all good! I think the risk is manageable, as most of the time you are outdoors with kind of a soft ground. at the same time you are not pointing it towards someone where it could deflect towards them.
@@PhoenixFeatherAirsoft your theory is good, but in this video i see you shooting your pistol near your own foot… 🤣 my tip is to shoot in a bush or toward “nothing”, or at least do it to the sky (not in cqb game obviously)… I’m not an instructor or similar, but i THINK that shooting to the ground isn’t a good tip, but everyone has their own toughts! Talking about eye pro safety while not showing full seal is wild😂 the amount of tacticool gear babies I’ve seen almost lose an eye because they are wearing impact rated range glasses instead of full seal googles is absurd. Doesn’t matter if it’s cqb or outdoors in a milsim setting. Bbs will find their way into the gap
in Germany full seal is not a requirement - except certain indoor fields. Halo Kits for the Oakley M Frames are not a thing here. In my years of playing I never had a problem and never seen one. For Indoor I use a Paintball Mask
instead of arguing about BB hit or miss during the game, it's better just combine laser tag and airsoft. I'm sure airsoft and milsim nerds dream of having civikia version of MILES system.
