Look at getting thick-wall PVC pipe or even stainless pipe to drop into those holes in the timber where you are putting your rods. Makes a great rod-holder and keeps the reel from getting knocked around. How tldo you like the white Veritas rod?
Great idea! Yes.. I haven’t been able to get one :( I am so sad to actually see my reel getting bumped Yeah, I like it. It has too many memories: the first good rod I own; I bought it when my wife got her scholarship to do PhD; and it caught a Kingfish (50 cm, though not legal) 😂

No worries bro. That is interesting. I usually only film part of the sessions, the beginning and then when there are actions. Will try next time to film the whole one hour session and what is gonna be look like during that time.

The whole range of those Veritas rods are pretty good.
Any Kingfish legal or not is still a good fighting fish and a memory maker.
