I know mr. roll his wife used to be my bus driver. They are good people.
Some things may help you get off being stuck.
Carry 2"x4"s, 2"x6", enough for at least 2 or more per tire or track, place them perpendicular or across the wheel/track so it can grab it, and produce a traction by lifting the tire/track off the way making the machine move freely.
Lifting the stuck wheel or track end stuck, and placing anything you can have solid under, rocks, wood, as explained before. If at any time you can have a machine capable of lifting any inches the deepest end in the mud, placing some dried objects under, the machine will move forward.
Tell the driver of the machine to don't super fast speed the machine pulled, to place it first on Neutral, if you absolutelly can not move it, then on gear forward and gas it softly to produce a shave or enough move sort of to free it a little enough so you can pull it off.
If there's a wheel/or any solid object, tall enough you can lean on a cable while you the puller and the machine pulled are closer to the pulled machine, the closer the better sort of you while pulling you lift the machine pulled, you will not only pull, you will be freeing from the angular stuck position of the wheel/track making the move easier for all.
The farther the puller the easiest you lose power from the pull, unless you impact the pulled machine.
Keep in mind, in case you fear you'll break a cable, try to place on the cable 4" pvc longest possible pipes so, if by any means a cable gets snapped the pvc will shock absorb the whipped cables slowing the wiping on anyone. the pvc can be a projectile but any impact will be softer than a steel cable. Install diamond cables between a winch and the pulled object. Use the strongest safest winch you can, and use it the minimum, with the best strongest cables you absolutely can, and if you can be as far as the length of the cable, be there and work from there.
If you're to pull from a cabin make sure you're always around at least, 4 columns although the more the safer!

It has always surprised me how many lawnmower repair shops don't have a welder. Seems like I am always welding cracked mower decks, reinstalling gauge wheels that customers rip off, and in some cases weld the frame back together.
NgnMech I always had someone else that was capable of welding on staff. I just never forced myself to take the time to practice.
@@bjbrown506 I kind of assumed that you had somebody working for you that could weld. But I have talked to several shops that don't even have a welder. I had to teach myself welding to make the repairs. Still not the best welder but can make two pieces of metal stick together. But with mower decks and the associated rust and other contaminates it is hard to get clean welds.

I’m always amazed when I drive down I 71 in Ohio and see all the drainage tile being installed on all the farms. It seems like it really became popular in the past 10 years.

Here in ND our ground is frozen. All our work gets pushed into fewer months. When it warms up it’s hurry up and run before the cold comes again. But the mud wouldn’t be any fun. Stay safe.

If you would put an old semi tire between 2 chains it will give a cushion so your tractor can get started and the tire will act like a rubber band and help pull.it works great.

Here in Europe we learned a long time ago that you need filter material surrounding the pipe for it to work for more then 5 years.
You must have different soil types then we do because we have put till in this way for years and it still works. Pretty common practice in the Midwest

WOW wish we could tile this time of year, Also noticed 8400 didn't make a deep rut , we'd get foot deep ruts here. The stuff you can do with different soil types.

Never been to Jamaica but highly recommend Cozumel !!! Surprised extending that cable made enough difference , kinda wonder about the grade control when the plows wheels were off the ground though !!?? Those kind of conditions nothing beats steel tracks with deep lugs but that was pretty extreme ! Lots of drain tile in our neighborhood ! Shop cleaning is A thankless job , gotta get Bob's Gator dirty once in a while ! Thanks for the video !!
Luckily that was the end of the run. We will probably go back and fix the end with a excavator

You need to get a 2 1/2” heavy duty Yankum kinetic recovery rope, that rope can pull out just about anything stuck in the mud.

The red tractors have always been pulled out by others. In the mud or in business. A John Deere has always been a John Deere. No Rockwell, Case, Stieger, etc.. Red tractors have been pulled out of more trouble than a meth head in lower Alabama

People don’t seem to realize but tires get better traction then trace do they compact worse then tracs but because of the smaller surface area and the big lugs they get better traction any tractor with the same weight and power on tires could of pulled that out and if that quadtrac was a Steiger with duals if wouldn’t of gotten stuck.
I'm a firm believer in the tile and grass waterways they work it's just you have time and money in them and you have to maintenance them

Always heard hind site was 20/20. Be curious to see how much water flows out those tiles after all that soil was compacted in those muddy conditions. I will bet you will be able to pick out those areas easily.
