Imagine my delight upon waking up and finding a 36+ minute "I Make a New One" compilation from my favorite restoration channel! It's going to be a good day.
So satisfying to watch! Can you make a workshop tour once? I would be very interested in how you sort all of the tools and machines you have. Maybe a suggestion for a new video? Lots of love from The Netherlands! ;)
I always watch, and am enthralled by, your videos. The talent and vision on display is mind-bending. Speaking as someone who can just about sharpen a pencil without breaking it.
My father introduced me to metal fabrication techniques more than 40 years ago, when we made a close-focus accessory for my camera (it was one of the most pleasant afternoons we had together). He died before RUclips came on the scene, but I can say that he would have LOVED watching your work--further, I bet he'd have marched out and purchased a lathe and mill thanks to your example. :)
Absolutely true! Level of skills on so many different fields, quality of work, and mere fact that some pretty common things he turns into art masterpiece. Simply amazing!
I appreciate your attention to detail, understanding the properties and elements of everything, manufacturing steel or any component and finishing to the highest quality standard.... you are the "Best in the World" -- thank you
That was a thrilling treasure of a compilation. After your door bell yesterday I thought I might go back and start at the beginning (again) and watch them all again and then this today! I also realized you have almost .5 Billion views and over 3M subs, in 3 years of your Exemplary restorations with so much attention to detail and first class videography. Congratulation to you and a Big Thank You for so many hours of education, incredible work, dedication to your craft, and sharing it with us. I guess I'm not the only one who gets the quality standards you set! 😇😉😁
The attention to detail not only with mechanical interworkings but also the period-esque styling choices are one of my favourite parts about this. If you break a rivet, youll restore said rivet. Youre not reinventing it, youre truly restoring it.
This is the best part of the channel. It should be the name of the channel. I Make A new one Well thinking it twice, it would lose completely the "I'm restoring something old" vibe maybe it was a bad idea, but for me it's the best parts of the videos.
Just a FYI..... His " I make a new one" T-shirts are amazing. The quality of the material and the ink they used to print on them holds up very VERY well... I bought one, I don't know, maybe 8 months ago, and it still looks 99% new. I highly suggest that you get one, they are great and I love the looks of people who actually "get it" when I'm out in public wearing it. Thanks MM, you're amazing.
I really enjoy your precision and detailed presentations of the complex work you do for each video. I also notice how in each video, your work space is always neat and clean. The time and effort it must take in addition to making such works of art shows how dedicated you are to what you do!
Doesn't matter if it's old videos I like watching my mechanics videos over and over because it's that good 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 this guy is good 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
i love how when you restore something you don't just take it back to how it left the factory you take it way beyond to such a level of perfection it's beyond belief not only could every single other restoration youtuber learn from you but 90% of the manufacturing industry could too you are an absolute wizard above and beyond all others
Wow how lucky are we! 3 videos in 1 week😊 😍. Thank you so much for putting these together. You really are a wizard. Your eye for detail and skill is amazing. Keep up the good work. Cheers 🇦🇺
The scooter and Hand Hammer drill were two of my favorites. Just a phenomenal job. Also the fit up on that Screw Driver was just unreal. I like how you think ahead and plan it all out. By far one of the best, if not the beat restoration, engineering channels I've ever seen. I cant wait to see what's next. I've watched all of your videos at least 3 times each lol. I wish to one day know how to do what you do. Great work as always buddy. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 Bravo. Take a bow lol.
Hello from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania! Love your channels and love the perfect restorations and incredible work you do! Always look forward to your videos!!
Why do all of your restored projects really look like finished artwork, beautiful jewelry and absolutely perfect products on display? Masterclass Expertise!

Kia ora (hello) wow I could put this video onto a loop and watch it hours on end... 'I make a new one....' is the best line to be used.... cos you truly do make the best new one. You are a young fella (going by your hands) and who ever taught you, your craft did an amazing job... Your mahi (work) is totally fabulous and so spot on. Thank you for showing me your wonderful craft. From this kiwi in Aotearoa New Zealand.
I love that you made this video, because whenever my friends and I watch your restoration videos you are affectionately called the "make a new one" guy
From all people around the world whom missed some unique detail/details: I hate you so much. Each I-make-a-new-one in your videos hurts like hell. Worst part that I can't stop watching and those are my favourite moments. *complicated engineering feelings*
Sir, I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this video. As a self taught hobbyist I enjoy working so much on my lathe, mill etc but I gained so much information from this one video I just had to subscribe. The quality of your engineering is other world and the restorations are as good, if not better than first manufacture. I have so many questions but will have a look at your other videos first as I am sure my answers will be there. A top quality, must see channel for sure, bloody awesome
I'm sitting here, with my jerk chicken and vanilla milk shake, wondering if I should watch this first, or Steve1989's 2 new videos. What a lovely Saturday evening deliberation.
Hello, I have been watching your videos for a long time. I want to say thank you so much for this content. It is with such pleasure that I watch your work on restoring things, I especially like your attention to the manufacture of small things, and this is very worth it. With love to you from Russia, many thanks for your efforts.
You are so good that in every video, I don’t know if I wish more that you save as much original component as you can or that you "make a new one" of everything! Still the best on RUclips 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I was just watching another restoration channel, where the guy restored an old toy truck. The metal-framed windshield had snapped off, and at one point in the video it showed that he found a used replacement, that he then cleaned up and chromed. What went through my mind was this. "Broken. I make new one!"

great compilation, very inviting to watch (rewatch) the whole restoration process again.

Hello from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania!
Love your channels and love the perfect restorations and incredible work you do!
Always look forward to your videos!!
They aren't just fixed. Each part is perfect. Wow. What a craftsman. Neat techniques and skills here, plus tool use.
I think that ratcheting screwdriver is probably my favorite restore of yours. Everything about it is so cathartic.
All of you work is so beautiful. I love watching you make old and new things even better than they started.
Very, very, very satisfying to watch.
Machining is the most satisfying thing to look at. Especially at the level you're in.
Why do all of your restored projects really look like finished artwork, beautiful jewelry and absolutely perfect products on display? Masterclass Expertise!
This video earned my subscription in under 4 minutes. I am glad to be here.
Almost 4 years of making a new one. Still unmatched.
The wrench at the end was lit.
Ich wünsche dir frohe Ostern

After watching this video I wanted to give five likes 👍, unfortunately RUclips only provides one... So 👍👍👍👍👍

A good recap on all the older videos I love and still watch.
The work you do is amazing. When I'm depressed, I come here to have a better day. 💯💪🏾🤙🏾
clever method of making the ball, never saw that way before.

So enjoyable to watch your fine craftsmanship and videography! (I would love to see a little slo-mo of the lathe!)

Awesome video for teaching the art of "making". One interesting thing that i learned was: after 240 grit, you can go straight up to scotch brite.
