    I love your content so much. I can't watch any other restoration channels because their lack of craftsmanship for both the restoration process and the cinematography are so far behind your levels of quality. Your videos are so pristine and pleasing to all the human senses, it's like a drug: I can't get my fix anywhere else

      Ive tried some of those cheap copycat channels rather than go cold Turkey! The comedown the next day though bro! Hideous flashbacks and terrible wind.

    I have come to the conclusion that MM selects restoration projects based on the parts he'll need to make. He knows we, the viewers, like seeing him make the parts, and he enjoys making them, so it's a win-win. Plus, he gets clips for his compilation videos... Win-win-win.

    The passion this man has for his craft is unbelievable.
    I would absolutely love to see him restoring a bayonet or something similar. People put so many videos of this online, particularly of the German Kar98 k bayonets, I think mymechanics should show them how it is done 😂

    Just a world-class machinist. Can make anything. And make it better than new. When the world ends, he can make a new one. Andnitnwill be a better world. All sharp edges smoothed out. All sharp corners radiused and holes are all chamfered.

    Thank you so much for making these videos of parts you make so we can have something in between the full build videos. I watch your videos with my 4 young children and they love it when you have to make a new part. We love how you take old "useless" junk and turn it into something beautiful and new (and also shiny). They are always so excited when I tell them there is a new "tool video" and they leave their play to come watch your magic.

    I want you to know that you’ve inspired me. I purchased a lathe about a month ago. I’ve been fiddling around with it for about 4-6 hours every day at least. I’ll post a video of me making something once I figure out how to turn it on.

    I like the way that all the dedicated jigs and attachments that are needed to do a particular job are at hand. They also take hours of time and skill to make in the first place.

    I make a new one! Thats always my favorite thing to see on your main channel.
    I also love how when you need a tool, to help you make a thing, and you dont already have that tool, you use the tools you do have, to make the tool you need, to use with the other tools you need, to make the thing you need. Im not sure if that's what that was, at 4:13 (the coil winding attachment), but it looked like it might have been. I know ive seen you do it before though, with other things.

    He employs the finest tools, materials, while maintaining the highest standards when restoring items from mundane to rare treasures. When he completes a project it’s value surely exceeds its original cost, quality and visual appeal.
