I dye my hair orange with a live xxl colour (mango twist of something) I love the colour but find the brightness fades too quickly and would love to make the mask to keep it bright 😍
Yeah Hun I use a pot of directions or a bottle of crazy colour to 1 bottle conditioner or 1 hair mask pot. It helps keep your hair in good condition and bright x

I had black hair before ginger, it's really easy to get to ginger from black, as when you strip black hair it tends to go a brassy tone, also thank you 🧡

Aww thank you, so when I initially had the colour change I had my hair bleached up from black, so the ends at this point had some bleach probs under there but the top was on my natural colour xxx
It's a standard hair mask or colour conditioner mixed with either a crazy colour 'orange' or a pot of 'tangerine' by directions. I just mix both together and use it xx

I think I'm enjoying using the directions colour more at the minute as I find it lasts a bit longer and is more of a nice true orange where as the crazy colour has more of a red hue when its first topped up xx

Aww thank you, I did go to the hairdressers back in day but it was like £80+ and I couldn't justify it... I find it easy enough to do myself as I've been dying my hair for years. I usually put a mirror Infront of me and behind me so I can see that everywhere is covered at the back. The trick with the coloured mask is something I've always done for years now, I used to always be changing the colour of my hair (bright colours) and so this always helped me keep the vibrancy there. Hello thanks for watching! I'm no professional but I definitely wouldn't recommend bleaching your hair at home if it's already quite damaged. Maybe go to a professional and have them start removing the black dye, it's a long process as I've had it done myself in the past but it's the safest way. If you want to bleach it though and add the hair colour it's up to you but I can't say that it will end up how the hair result looks on the box. So when I very first went orange I stripped my hair as it was black. But now I just have copper hair I don't bleach it. When my roots come through (natural dark brown) the olia changes it colour so I don't need to bleach my hair xx
I always used Garnier Olia 7.40 when dying my hair because it's the best one and gives me a bright color! But lately I haven't been able to find it ANYWHERE. Not in local stores, not online, I cannot find that shade anymore😭
Hello! So I leave it on for varied amounts of time, minimum I like to leave it on is 20 minutes but sometimes If I am busy I've had it on up to an hour before. Both times I've had the same results xx

But to keep mine bright I use the Garnier olia 7.40 and then I use a hair mask mixed with a semi permanent bright orange and that really makes the colour pop! If you want a super bright look you'd possibly have to bleach depending on your current look. But my natural was like a mid to dark brown and it always took on that fine with no bleach
Thank you, I know I always kick myself as I've heard Brad Mondo say this god knows how many times but this way has always worked pretty well for me and because I'm only topping my roots up I find this way easier as I only want to freshen up the colour on the ends x
For an initial application that's correct, but for a root retouch where your just refreshing the ends hitting the regrowth first is a fine approach ❤ you can even just color the regrowth and gloss the ends with a color mask or demi color. Those mid lengths and ends are lifted already so they are easy to work with. I love all the different approaches to color. Out of all the hair stuff it's definitely the most fun 😃
You're actually not supposed to use permanent chemical hair dyes while pregnant! :o Not sure what's the official medical advice in the UK, but over here that's what the official advice is, and it's common sense too. Direct dyes like Directions are fine.
Was meant to add I found my next step solution of your video .others just wasn't right, Basically just put a box Auburn on last week now going to do this mask. Did you add conditioner to it?
