what's going on I have a question for you because I know you are really good with 360 cameras, there a way of repairing bad underwater stitching literally I bought the camera because I thought I can use it on the water and now I realized it's useless without a case. although it works it doesn't make to best shot honestly I wish insta with a lease make that known to their consumers so they don't have moments where they film a lot of stuff underwater only for it to be useless footage

Why did you export at 4096 x 2304 instead of 3840 x 2160? Also, why wouldnt we just set the resolution as high as possible to something like 8k?

No it does not, but it does ensure platforms like RUclips don't compress the footage as much, so it will end up looking better in the end result on RUclips then if you export it at 1080P

Why export the footage in H264 and not ProRes 422 into Final Cut ?
ProRes files are a lot bigger and personally I can’t even tell the difference in the final result.

Why can you not get motion blur out of the camera? Can you not set the shutter to 1/48 in 24fps? I do this on my Insta360 One RS 1”, figured the X3 could do the same, no?
Wait.. no ND filter, it’s a bright day. Just occurred to me
There are no ND filters for 360 cameras that I know of and it was so bright out i was shooting at like 1/2000 in 30fps. You also need fast shutter on 360 cameras to help with stabilization. The camera is moving around so much if there was motion blur it would be a mess

The trees on the edges of the processed video look....pixelated and from a videogame. Is that part of the motion blur?
No, it's mostly from when he changed the standard view to the non-native "natural" view which skews the image. And then zooming out the field of view to 120deg just exaggerates it more. Personally, I like the editing process as shown. Just doesn't yield a truly cinematic shot, maybe more "epic" is a better description. Reshooting this on the Vivid color profile on the camera would probably yield a very similar result with punchy colors right out of the camera. Then you would just add the motion blur in post if desired.

I never like the fish eye look but the colors i tend to leave alone..too much adjusting reminds me of women on dating apps. also, im not trying to pay for subscriptions ...i do the free stuff

That's only color grading, nothing cinematic it looks like more a skateboard video game, I almost tried to move you left and right with my thumbs on the phone. Good vid but wrong title.
