You know, everytime a watch Brandon videos and tutorials as well, i just amazed how he focus on his process(look at moment when girl looked at him when he told about camera at 4th minute). His tutorials are so simple but so effective and clear. Brandon is a genious!!!
Brandon, love your 360 series and I wish that you can make more in depth 360 tutorials in future. 360 camera is a new tool that creates a whole new dimension of content creation and post production, we need someone iike you with deep knowledge on video production to share the tips and experience. Keep up your good works!
This is so clean even in low light! Just got home from our bangkok trip and i am really impressed amd love the place. Very difficult to communicate though but over all experience is great. Love your shots here brandon and really learned a lot. Thank you
Thank you for the video! As always, clear and logical explanation. Rather than just telling the technique or setting, you explain the situation, the constrain, and then giving the solution. It makes us easier to understand the reasons of your decisions and also makes it applicable for us to do our own problem solving when shooting.
Brandon, thank you for the settings. You do a great job to help us with insta360 cameras. Hope you do promotional visits by insta360 to market the cameras but also show a group of people on how to get videos by you. I am sure insta360 can fund you to travel to places such as Seoul, Tokyo, London, Honolulu, Doha, Rome, Sydney, etc. This is great for insta360 to sell cameras but for us to learn from you directly. Win win win for all.
Every time I keyframe and export 16x9 and then put it in an actual video, RUclips seems to compress it a lot and really f's up the shot. Curious how you're able to do so without quality loss. Loving the video btw
I had those problems too, depends on the camera sensor/bitrate and also you export bitrate setting. I usually export with 100mb bitrate, but you ccan play around with at least 50mb of you don't want files so big.
Upload it in 4K at least 80mb/s .. RUclips will prioritize the file as a higher bitrate since it's 4K and playback will look better in 1080 or 720 .. Even if the original video is only 1080 you should still export as 4K regardless.
always export at the highest bitrate you can. I normally export in h265 at 200mbps, if I upload as a 360 video I always encode as prores422 and upload it to youtube as that
It was very nice to see how you work and filmed BTS for you. Now I have a chance to watch the result and I think it's very cool! I already have Insta360 ONE X2 but since I see you and Manit use ONE RS1" with better results, I would love to upgrade too haha
My bf and I watch your videos to learn more about the 360 camera and you give so many helpful tips! Thank you so much! A couple weeks ago we took our camera to London so i'm curious to see if we've been able to apply your tips correctly haha!
Amazin video as always Brandon. I was curious: what microSD do you use for the Insta360 One RS 1" 360 Camera? Because transferring so many huge files makes it really slow. I just bought a v90 microSD card, but they top up at 64 GB, letting me only record 1 hour or so
Thank you for all informative in this video, can you explain more about editing ? I have the same camera Insta360 ONE RS 1inch 360 Edition, but the last video in time lapes can you explain the editing and the movement ?
Very nice shoots and tips! Congratulations! I get one of this myself and I do shoots at night! It’s a incredible camera. Always good to learn some extras!
Awesome video! I was wondering if anyone knows Brandons workflow in Davinci Resolve for the 360 clips. Resolve does not read the .insv files so what can you use to convert them so they are ready for Resolve?
Great video, definitely learned a lot. Was struggling at night with the same settings regarding the weird artifacts. Also love the shots created with the clamp!
Very enjoyable. Thanks for showing us a little slice of Bangkok. Sweet video quality - thanks also for the night shooting tips, lots of valuable info for shooting at night with other cameras as well.
Great video, thanks for sharing. May need ask when you shoot, is the lens facing up down or left right. When following children should I twist the angle Because when I try using it, the stitching area looks funny.
Great tips and breakdown. I swear you're the only one getting this kind of quality out of this cam. Do you have a tutorial on your post production process? Maybe that's where I can make my improvements.
Thank you for the video and information. Learning allot about insta360 cameras. What would happen if i were to shoot an Insta360 X3 at night or indoors during the day with lights on.. Need to check to see if there are any examples of night or indoor shooting with the latest Insta360 X3 camera. Take care.
Hello and thanks for your response. I used to have a GoPRO hero 7 but got damaged. I used it to take pictures and record videos whenever I travelled. Not as an action camera for vlogging, but mostly for taking videos and photos. I edit them casually for my personal files, nor vlogging or anything related. I consider action cameras because they are light and waterproof as opposed to a normal camera (my mobile is a very old one). Therefore, I am looking for a recommendation of an action camera for a non-adventurous traveler. I would really appreciate any input. So far, I think the most convenient would be DJI Action but then I got advice to search for Insta360 ONE RS but seems they stopped manufacturing. Can you talk regular pics with the x4? I mean if you could use it a regular camera, specially in low lights? Your feedback would be highly appreciate it. Thanks
Can you please be a bit more specific about how you reframe the footage in Resolve? Export to 360 video via Insta360 studio and then KartaVR Reframe360Ultra Plugin?
Brandon's faith in the 1/4 20 screw to hold all that pressure and tension fully extended on two even 3 sticks is the same faith i need my future wife to have in me.
Great Job as Usual Brandon! Really dig how you explain what you are doing in an Extremely Easy to understand way! I've been a Top Extreme Water Sports Photographer here in Hawaii for 30 years and I really like your Videos! Mahalo, Pono
I'm honestly shocked at how good that 1" 360 is in low light! Just sold my original One R and 1st gen 360 module, may have to get the new RS and the new 1" module!
I think, hyperlapse in self edit will create some blur and hides imperfections. After watching yours movies, my plans for using my 360 cam speed up quickly... Thank you !
I am preparing for a trip and I had to refresh my skills on 4 different types of gear I'm bringing. I searched for refreshed content on them and all 4 of the best videos I reviewed were from Brandon 😅 I will say I hatred this Insta360 selfie stick because that camera bends the stick too much when extended. It's too heavy for that selfie stick.
Nice! I have this camera, and also use it for nith time, but I typically do astro timelapses! I would still use ISO200 though in order to be able to shoot 50 frames, but for reframing it doesn't matter that much. Do you post the actual 360 foorage anywhere?
Great video and sharing! But you need a 5-metre stick... which I have. I only have the x3 though. Hahaha. It's fun to have such a long stick. It's amazaing what you can achieve with it.
Thanks - I picked up a lot of good tips which will work with my rx3. The challenge of night filming in the city is managing the brightness of illuminated subjects versus the illumination sources themselves. Both are interesting, and it's a struggle to make both look good in the same shot! Also - overall, low-ISO scenes looks much darker on screen than they do to our adjusted eyes in real time. The darkness injects a mood which might be desirable for the street, but sometimes might not be - as in the busy mall.
that's a good setting. have been exploring the insta360 setting in low light, I always need to bump up iso, resulting in unusable footage. I going to try out your 24fps/ 1/50 setting and go slow during shooting.
There is a reason why Brandon is at 500k and not before long will be at 1m ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yeah but why view count is so low. Merely fraction of total subscribers.
I was there at 1k
You know, everytime a watch Brandon videos and tutorials as well, i just amazed how he focus on his process(look at moment when girl looked at him when he told about camera at 4th minute). His tutorials are so simple but so effective and clear. Brandon is a genious!!!
Always appreciate your real-world tests and explanations, instead of just reading off the specs provided by the camera makers.
Amazing info Brandon. You're a wizard with these shots and definitely have the best 360 content out of all the youtubers out there by far.
Nice video. Which wireless microphone are you using for this video?
Awesome shots! Looking forward to visit Bangkok later this year with my X3 and 1-INCH 360 🙂
Brandon, love your 360 series and I wish that you can make more in depth 360 tutorials in future. 360 camera is a new tool that creates a whole new dimension of content creation and post production, we need someone iike you with deep knowledge on video production to share the tips and experience. 360 camera have been out for over 6 years years now . They are simple.

Best film maker on RUclips! Love your videos man!
This has brought some clarity and insight for the night time settings. Thanks for these tips. Will apply these settings next time I use this camera.
Brandon, thank you for the settings. You do a great job to help us with insta360 cameras. No one can make better looking Insta360 footage than you Brandon! You showed how it really can be used for creative work
Do you offer a Davinci Resolve 360 reframing and grading tutorial? I enjoy watching you work with the camera. Great results.
360 cameras are so much fun, they provide unique perspective and angles 🤩
Tes idées créatives sont à la hauteur de ton talent.
Merci Brandon pour toutes tes vidéos très inspirantes.
I just found you one day after receiving my new insta360 3X. I love the professionalism, I hope to learn a lot from you. Thank you.
All your 360 videos are the best 360 tutorials in the world.
Keep on shining Brandon!

The hyperlapses are awesome. Great job!

i love your confidence while vlogging

Dude, so many great tips. Love it. Can't wait to get mine and incorporate it on personal and business projects!!!

Very nice shoots and tips! Congratulations! I get one of this myself and I do shoots at night! It’s a incredible camera. Always good to learn some extras!
Very impressed by how clean the hyperlapse turned out, and how natural the motion blur looks! Excellent stuff as usual !
finally someone good at 360 camera teaches.
Such a talented teacher!
3:36 😂😂 take care girl, Brandon is in his element 💛
Such clarity in your presentation. Well done.
Awesome! Learned a lot and can't wait to try all this myself!
Very long time watcher. Congrats on your dedication and 500k subs 🎉
Thank you for your video... only iso 100 at night? Is it very dark? Do you used any post?
Awesome video!
I was wondering if anyone knows Brandons workflow in Davinci Resolve for the 360 clips. Resolve does not read the .insv files so what can you use to convert them so they are ready for Resolve?
I also went hunting in the comments haha. Apparently he's using kartaVR plugin
Great video, definitely learned a lot. Was struggling at night with the same settings regarding the weird artifacts. Also love the shots created with the clamp!
Love your content. Really interested in seeing how you edit as well brother 🤞🏾
I was in bkk china town last week wishing I had that camera, perfect timing with a tutorial from the master
Very enjoyable. Thanks for showing us a little slice of Bangkok. Sweet video quality - thanks also for the night shooting tips, lots of valuable info for shooting at night with other cameras as well.
Such an Awesome adventure. Thank you for taking us along. I can't wait to try some of this on my Insta360 on my bike. Should be a fun experiment.
Great video again, Brandon. Grading tutorial coming soon? :')
Fantastic, love it. Will look into your film school for sure.

Great video, I have an insta360 x3. Will I be able to achieve a similar result at 5.7k/24p with 1/50 shutter speed?
Do you find it overheats easily eg in sunlight?
Astonishing video hands down .👋👍
Any recommendations for resolving overheating shutdowns when recording over 30-minutes?
The king of smooth
Thanks Brandon for yet another great tutorial! 👏
Is this camera suitable for vertical 9:16 video format ? Will the video quality after conversion be anywhere comparable to that of goPro Hero 11 ?
Yes it’s equal quality in vertical as horizontal because the image is originally 360 (spherical)
looks excellent in a well lit area like that. More normal night time places are pretty rough with a small sensor and low resolution like the one rs 1"
Impressively good job getting the absolute best out of that camera!
Fantastic and inspiring! Amazing what you can do with this 360. I bought one and hope to learn from you. Thx
How does this look at something like ISO 800? And be able to pump up the shutter a bit for stability?
How abt its battery life? And any overheating issue? Can charging and shooting happen concurrently?
Awesome masterclass, this will help a lot of people
Brandon is the best!
Would you suggest to shoot on 30fps or 24fps? Would that suggestion change if you shoot for a VR 360° video?
Can you please be a bit more specific about how you reframe the footage in Resolve? Export to 360 video via Insta360 studio and then KartaVR Reframe360Ultra Plugin?
Yes kartaVR
Is the DJI osmo pocket 3 better night quality?
Greeting from Hong Kong, thanks for your share and would like to learn how you edit and color graded in Resolve.
great job man, thanks for the tutorial!
Amazing tips! I would be curious to learn about the editing / Workflow part in Resolve as well !
Cool video inspiring always! Lookin at the extended stick will it snap ? look how bend it is...
No it doesn't snap.
Brandon's faith in the 1/4 20 screw to hold all that pressure and tension fully extended on two even 3 sticks is the same faith i need my future wife to have in me.
Amazing video got some new things to learn thanks bro.
Kung hai fat choi
Happy new year!
As usual awesome vid.
Hope you do video using the insta360 X3 also.
Great video as always Brandon. Thank you!
That was so helpful. A lot of great points. I took many notes and will refer back to this video the next time I shoot at night. Thank you.
Great Job as Usual Brandon! Really dig how you explain what you are doing in an Extremely Easy to understand way! I've been a Top Extreme Water Sports Photographer here in Hawaii for 30 years and I really like your Videos! Mahalo, Pono

I did quite a gamma boost to make it brighter, but with some noise reduction it looks clean enough for me.
Perfect!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
what brand is that Tshirt you're wearing in this video?
I'm going on vacation soon and i'll have my 1"inch 360 with me for the 1st time. It's going to be interesting how it performs underwater 👍🏼
Nice video Brandon.
360 in daylight yes, its here. Night, maybe next iteration will be good and satisfactory.
and what did you film yourself with
I think, hyperlapse in self edit will create some blur and hides imperfections.
After watching yours movies, my plans for using my 360 cam speed up quickly...
Thank you !

Just need to know the low light limits of your camera. Insta360 1" is about as good as a GoPro in low light.
Do you have X3 review ?
This is so cool. I’m now thinking of making a MV with this camera. Very nice video.
Welcome to my country, Thailand. Hope you like Bangkok and wait to see next clip on Chiangmai.
another nice video sir. Thank you very much!😍🦖
what monopod/selfie stick are you using?
My question about shooting in 24p, can you use 60p instead then convert in editor later? In case there are some shots that you want to slowmo later
Yes but your motion blur will be a little different because it’s a faster shutter
I just hat stitching and loosing the prerecord function but... I really love my camera, I got inspired because of you.
Here's my best video until today
Do you think hdr is coming to this camera via firmware update?
but the way, brandon, any recommendation settings for taking fireworks?
Same settings! But you might need a faster shutter if the fireworks are really bright.
