I tried my best to appreciate 2020. I felt like Cartman because I finally had an excuse to not see people. Work pretty much shut down so I did my best to appreciate the time with my 4 year old who I had to home school. And due to Covid we got to have to Thanksgiving at home. No traveling. I made a big dinner for the four of us and we got to stay home all day. It was magical.
The Panderverse special on Paramount+ was soooooo goooood, and it's going into a 3-part event that will bleed into the new year, when Disney loses intellectual rights to Mickey Mouse. It's an insane ride, thus far.

The TLDR is that people in masses tend to, under such circumstances, cut themselves off from what they perceive as different. Basically they go "us or them" mentality and separate themselves from foreigners, those acting different, et cetera, because they are unknown factors and could expose you to whatever it may be. So in other words, more so fuel to the fire (even if its only a spark) than an actual new issue.
