- Hello.
Finally, we got our hands on the shooting of this work). In this video I will try to show as briefly as possible the process of replacing the fuel pump filter or, popularly, the fuel pump mesh, which is located in the fuel tank.
The car we have will be a VAG group, an American VW Tiguan 2.0TSI with a CCTA engine.
It is noteworthy that this video will be that in the process, I will show the diagnostic parameters of the "low" side of the fuel system BEFORE replacing the filter and AFTER replacing it.
By "diagnostic parameters" I mean measuring the pressure of the fuel line from the fuel tank to the high pressure fuel pump. Everything will be clearly understood thanks to the pressure gauge.
Tediously and sluggishly I will tell you about what malfunctions and symptoms you need to replace the fuel filter - the fuel pump grid and on what runs.
The first measurement of fuel pressure will be with us before replacing the filter. By the pressure gauge and its arrow, it will be very clear how the pressure in the system behaves when the filter is dirty. Believe me - it's very interesting)).
The mileage of the car is 125 t.km, before that, no one changed the filter. And this is very noticeable.
Next, we will directly carry out the procedure for replacing the filter itself. I will show you everything in detail and tell you what to shoot for what, where to press, press, etc.
----- ====== One dick nobody reads the description))))) BU HA ha !!!! ======= ----
IMPORTANT! I will show which analog filter we will use instead of the factory one. Believe me, you will save a lot, a lot of money, because a "native" one costs a lot of money, because in principle it does not exist and it is sold assembled with a fuel pump flask and the pump itself.
And in this case, the manufacturer Daewoo saves us, and specifically the MATIZ mod. М100, М150 catalog number of the filter of the substitute 96320232-1.
After replacing and assembling the fuel unit, proceed to measuring the pressure in the low pressure side of the fuel system. The arrow on the manometer clearly shows the difference BEFORE and AFTER replacement.
This could have ended, but I will also show the characteristics of the fuel pump, namely, the pressure it creates at different engine operating modes. The gauge readings will VERY ease the work of diagnosticians in the future, as they give a clear understanding of the correct operation of the fuel system.
And more), I will tell you about the test method, the method recommended by VAG for testing the tightness of the low pressure side fuel system.
I tell everything as it is, I try to tell everything clearly and simply.
Ok, if you're interested - make yourself comfortable, turn on viewing!
I hope the movie turned out to be clear, easy, and even useful to someone! ;)
If at some point something is not clear, there are questions about this car, you want to know my opinion, or do not agree with something, ask questions, write comments, we will talk, discuss.
