@revivalofDJs I'm so glad that there are actually some real turntable-heads out here in the EDM scene that also recognize A-Trak and Luke. Caught a Luke set last November, the man cleans the floor easily with 90% of any EDM "DJs" I've seen live, and I make it a point to catch a show at least once a week! A-Trak won my heart back when he did mostly Hip Hop, and I'm glad he's growing and expanding as an artist :D
the best thing about atrak - is that not only is he a super dope turntablist - but his overall composition is such that he can keep the energy alive like no other. he's only gotten better over the years. although personally, i prefer his much more technical sets - but maybe that's because i'm a turntablist and this is my favorite genre to listen to.
I love how he mixes and DJ's and experiments at every concert instead of just doing the same set every show. I want to be just like him as a DJ (obviously not as good)...
nice to see a dj actually doing somthing for once instead of putting a record on which a guy like me with no dj'ing abilitys what so ever could prob do, hes one hell of a dj!
I remember A-TRAK jamming with Q-BERT and CASH MONEY wen he was like 14 i think at the 97 DMC championships i think it was cant remember wat the event was called
I have seen bad boy bill live, and yeah this is such a lost art. I dont mind the new era, but the old school vinyl was what made a DJ a dj, not computers.
@basicgroove Are you fucking kidding me? More DJ sets needs to have this kind of preparation and creativity put into them. A-Trak is a technical DJ, that is his craft, he's amazing at it.
Can some one tell me what mixer he is using? It looks like the Rane TTM 56 because of the white insignia on the front but it looks like it has too many knobs
This video is from 2009 dude. Now I don't follow A-Trak, all I know is that he's a well respected name in the scene, but chances are he wasn't producing as much as he does now in 2009. A-Trak has been in the scene for a long ass time and I'd argue that he's more well-known as a turntabilist than a producer.
Beatjuggling = one INSANE way to make music. Sound on this vid was far from perfect, but to actually watch this guy make the music is epic.
Gotta love a good crowd thats diggin the performance and appreciates the skills
i dunno how many times i’ve watched this video. he’s my hero.
10 years ago... I was 12 when I first discovered this video HOLY GUACAMOLE
By far one of the most talented Dj's I have ever seen
thanks for the upload!
a-trak is dope!
man i used to play this set all the time 🥺

He should make a remix of robot rock on mp3
New school fans!! Lol!! I been watching this kid since he was 15 and still tearing it up....!!
THANK YOU
What an amazing display of talent

this guy is is on of the best djs ive ever heard
How can someone dislike this? It's so good >_>
what i love is he's using Traktor or Serato but he still looks at stickers on the records themselves to juggle...
thats insane. going to see him next weekend in leeds cant wait
one of the best beeat juggling routines ever! so sick when he added fools goals after that high ass build up! at :37! A-trak is sick
I love how he mixes and DJ's and experiments at every concert instead of just doing the same set every show. I want to be just like him as a DJ (obviously not as good)...
happy birthday a-trak ! :D
Technics 1200 mk5 have a pair! and the mixer is a pioneer djm800, using serato acratch on a macbook pro!
Amazing. So talented.
It dosn't sound too good what he's doing with the track but the skill of juggleing the track like that and keeping it in time like that is awesome.
@91splash replying does not seem to work at the moment but the song is The Kills - Cheap and Cheerful (SebastiAn remix)
Aaaaaaand this is the way mixing/scratching id done. Period.
nice to see a dj actually doing somthing for once instead of putting a record on which a guy like me with no dj'ing abilitys what so ever could prob do, hes one hell of a dj!
thNKS. good stuff.
Totally Agree
just want this in my ears all day everyday, jesus christ
HOLY CRAP HE IS REALLY MESSING WITH THIS TURNTABLE
WOOHAAA!!!!! this is what i called a live remix
I remember A-TRAK jamming with Q-BERT and CASH MONEY wen he was like 14 i think at the 97 DMC championships i think it was cant remember wat the event was called
I love that he seems like hes just jamming out like no one is there. almost like hes at home in his studio with no fucks to give.
you are my hero
Oh yeah! Nice work sir
@hiimsmart no , it's '' Serato scratch live''
@Peruvian007 It's there to read bro, glad you enjoyed ;)
omfg this is so sick
This video inspired me to finally get off my ass and learn how to become a DJ :D
sweet
first time ive seen someone spinning soulwax's mix
I honestly love Dj a-trak
he should of collaborated with DJ AM
R.I.P AM
atrak is the man!!
Awesome.. i just got a new favorite DJ.. where ever he is DJing i wanna be there :P!
this is dope i wish i can juggle like that
CUTTIN IT UPP
@paintball626 Serato. Stickers are easier to manage. Your lookin at the deck instead of a screen= better precision
The crowd does't seem annoyed. Look up more A-trak Robot Routine videos and watch the crowd
I have seen bad boy bill live, and yeah this is such a lost art. I dont mind the new era, but the old school vinyl was what made a DJ a dj, not computers.

Can some one tell me what mixer he is using?
It looks like the Rane TTM 56 because of the white insignia on the front but it looks like it has too many knobs
oh man im so proud to be from Montreal too lol
can someone tell me what exactly is he doing?
what does spinning it backwards do and stuff
I'd definitely say that in a live setting, the second track was executed much better, but robot rock was impressive
killer beats
the best tribute to daft punk
mad shit, whats the second tune remix with the girl singing?
There's definately a robot rock remix in there after he juggles the untouched version. Anyone know who it's by?
@Ferrofantasia Thank you, after when i've write my comment, i've read the other comments, and i found it. but Thank you :)
him and travis barker are gonna do some great things
so... when does the music start?
absolutely siiccckkk
LOL @ the guy with the elbow on the desk like "meh" LOOL
everything he touches turns into FOOLS GOLD
what the song he mixes into near the end?
@Peazy1337
not a fakeblood remix it's the Cheap And Cheerful - SebastiAn Remix ;)
real DJ right there
mad mad mad, the master of the deck's!!!!
whats the name of the second song he mixes?
would've liked to hear one more drop at the end.
is there a good quality of this recorded anywhere????????
@TheDjTorque Cool, I got him second to DJ Precision. You know Precision can do any of A-Trak's juggles just by listening to it?
yeah that was SMD near the end
he's making his own beat through scratching and quick looping the track
DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THE SECOND SONG THAT HE STARTS MIXING AT AROUND 4:20 ???? CHEERSO
was that Simian Mobile Disco at the end?
there are other kinds of Dj's? O.o
what kind a mixer he use ?
@hovadude check out some of boys noize's sets. he's pretty at djing as well. he uses cdjs though.

Where can I buy his Tee Shirt please ?
anyone knows the name of the next track?
i saw him perform this in Oslo. one of the weirdest daft punk remixes I've ever heard, but he still put on a great show
@Gremmis ??isn't the crowd dancing all along? why would it be to much if they still dance?
Where can i download this song?
whats that second song hes playing?
anyone know what brand hat that is?
5 stars, i like his style.
what programs he using, looks sorta like virtual DJ but is it?
where can i download this ?
@k1headhunter It's The Kills - Cheap and Cheerful (SebastiAn Remix)
@lDjRodA pretty certain it's a pioneer DJM 800
what turntables is he using?
Is that SMD lurking behind that blue backdrop behind him?
Great crowd
in te end is sebastian remix of cheap and cheerful
Damn A-trak is no joke
@3daftpunk even the first minute is dope
they are not even dancing , they are stunned!
what's the 1st track?
wat kind of mixer is dat?
