Bought my Class C in July 2019 for a very very reasonable price. Same RV during the pandemic was priced $40k more. Prices have come down along with depreciation and it seems prices have normalized. I had mine up for sale last season and had a few offers but decided to keep for another year. Put it back up this year $10k cheaper than last year and not a single offer. Decided we still love it so gonna just keep it. That plus the fact a towable my truck can handle would be a big adjustment as far as space. My 31' Greyhawk will be my rig for a long time.
I was just able to trade-in my (2017) motorhome toward a new travel-trailer. This is my 3rd try. Couldn’t get enough $$ trade-in until now. I was pleasantly surprised.
I've worked in the rv industry for 21 years. I can tell you, right now, we are suffering a parts shortage on the manufacturing side. I don't see it getting any better anytime soon
Most of the excellent lenders will be through a dealership. For example, US Bank has a lot better program through the dealerships than they do if you go in person. Are you planning on buying through a dealer or private party?
@@RodneyGaines-y5x look at their financing 1st then of course go to a local credit union and see what they can do. When you use the dealer financing you generally get a better price
In my area here in Canada, used RV's are priced so high it makes more sense to get a new one!! Thanks for the info!

I tried to keep it short. It has to do with shipping lanes and international water treaties. I talked a little bit about in other videos.
