The “you’re a weirdo,” after he says, “You’re halfway there.” Makes her calling him a weirdo before they kiss actually cute.
Them vandalizing the tonehangers van is actually hilarious considering Bumper joined them later
these deleted scenes really describe the characters’ relationships better. i feel like i really got to see more of everyone and their backgrounds

I didn't think this movie could be any more perfect but these scenes really shouldn't have been deleted!! loved them!!!
the reason is not because they 'are not perfect' EVERY MOVIE HAS A FINAL CUT and its Necessary because of Many Reason one of them is for the movie to Fit the Time Limitation and many more.
Nah. I enjoy watching these now, but as you said, the movies were perfect as they were and these scenes are not, for different reasons. I think they did a great job leaving them out.
I feel so bad for Benji, they hold the party right below his dorm (besides getting kicked out unnecessarily, since I think most of the crowd were not acapella singers) , and they didn’t let him ride in the bus. Jessie didn’t even try to convince them.
One of them pressured moments where he knows how the group misunderstands Benji's weirdness and it wouldn't do much good. Even though he's not afraid to stay in contact and call him buddy in front of everyone which shows integrity and character. Also because technically it's his first year in the group and doesn't have much pull. One of those in depth moments to two characters that were sadly cut but I think it's because it would have really mellowed the movie out a bit.
Almost all these were rightfully cut, except for the riff-off one, since the moderator's explanation really would've been good, to understand why the Bellas lost.
It explains why in second one there is a detail explanation of rules .

Totally agree, all the scenes except for the riff-off were not necessary. The riff-off scene should not have been cut entirely, they could have edited it so it was just the rules and not included the part with Benji, that part was not needed.
I think it would’ve been more explanatory with Becca and Jessie’s last argument(before Becca quits the Bellas) if the “Becca goes out with Luke” scene was played in the movie. The fact how Luke’s first response to Becca’s question on “why did you listen to my songs” or something like that was answered first with “because Jessie wouldn’t stop nagging me about it” makes the argument more understandable on Becca’s side. Because it’s not ONLY because she pushes others away as a part of her personality- but because she felt like she couldn’t bring herself up with her own talent but with others such as Jessie, who was always trying to help but sometimes takes it to a level that strikes Becca’s insecurities and self-worth. I study CAFS(Community And Family Studies) so I know what I’m seeing.

@@anonymouslearner2454 Well putting myself into Becca's perspective, she is an independent individual who wants to prove that she is able to do great things. But when Jessie, a guy who is pretty interested into her as it is shown, comes in to help out. Becca feels as if she's out of power, and that scene struck a nerve point. Jessie, even when he had the right intension and did the right thing, to her it feels like he is doing too much or "taking control of her life". She even pushes him away yelling that he is not her boyfriend and that he should just back off. She is the kind of girl who doesn't want people to help her as it seems that she won't be able to do anything herself and that her efforts are worthless. That's why she is uncomfortable when anyone, even her dad, comes to help. Her only option is to push them away so that she "has control of her life". She has a very flexible and interesting character that it can be interpretated differently. But I myself can relate in that way.

Pacing and timing. Plus the one with benji at the riff-off has really bad and confusing shots. Watch when he stands and sings in the “sweet spot.”

A lot of people saying the second scene was in the film - yes, it was, but this is the deleted _extended_ version, they cut about 50-75% of that dialogue

He's Benji and he has the saddest life story in pitch perfect,but in pitch perfect 2 both him and jesse became the leaders of the trebels and theyre better leadership than Bumper
Makes sense that his name is Benji. He spends most of the movie looking like a poor lost puppy.
Did you know? At 6:51 Beca and Stacie's laughter isnt scripted and they actually laughed in real life thats why they madw the final cut for this scene

@@aitana7767 Not sure how you being Spanish has anything to do with it. I think the reason they shot this scene is to explain how Bella earn enough money for regional competition. It has link to some other deleted scene not show here I think. One of them is Fat Amy talked about bikini car wash.
why you cut so many skylar/jesse scenes? I LITERALLY NEEDED THEM. Also all the benji scenes omg...pitch perfect it's my fav film but i think i would love the film even more with these scenes.

@@secretfolders6069 They can still release the deleted scenes from those movies. Don’t know why you had to point out that the last sequel was Pitch Perfect 3. It’s not really over. They literally posted these deleted scenes eight years later since the first movie released.

Was thinking the same thing. Why else would a studio release 8 year old deleted scenes unless they are trying to start some "buzz" about the franchise. If we see them release deleted scenes from PP2 & 3 then the odds will be definitely better they are making a PP4.

They filmed this at 3am in an abandoned swimming pool with no space for actors chairs or anything and it was really cold, so they ended up getitng quite cozy.

The Treblemaker scenes I’m sad were cut out. It really explained them a bit more. For example, when they destroy the Tonehangers van. I didn’t even know that was something the Trebles did every year.

Bechole kiss is at the pitch perfect 3 and this is only about the cut scenes on pitch perfect 1 but they havent released the cut scenes in pp 2 and 3 so they havent officially released it.
