Yeah go Brad! Select are by far my favourite too. It feels like the hobby is definitely coming around to Select which is awesome. It’s a classy card and looks better than Prizm to me.

Those silvers appear to be 1 per mini box. With that being said, my Kevin love, Dr J and Dwight Howard silvers I scooped out of the 15 for $10 boxes at a card shop was probably a solid buy!! I also bought a rondo and KCP silver the other day from this set for $3 each.

Jeremy Lin was undrafted for the 2010 NBA Draft and he signed in Summer League with Dallas that year. He had a great SL which got him the guaranteed contract from Golden State. Linsanity was from February to April 2012 while with New York Knicks.

Select always makes the most beautiful cards. I’ve always thought they should hold more value than the Prizms.

The only big names in 12-13 are dame, AD, Drummond, Beal, Draymond, and Khris Middleton. Everyone else they mentioned wasn’t a rookie.
They are considered their rookie cards, though, as the major sets weren’t produced the year prior.
What boxes do you recommend for baseball cards?

Congratulations and thanks for this interesting break. With the Thompson AU RC you can see that the risk of cards sticking is always high with old boxes. In addition, there are usually many expired Redemption Cards. You should think twice about using closed boxes as a system.

I'd like to see you get a 2012 Upper Deck All Time Greats box or case (If you can find one these days). Back in 2013 i got them on sale for 100 bucks each, bought boxes from fresh cases and pulled 7 MJ autographs. I got 3 of them /5 and the rest were /45. Each 6 box case guarantees an MJ or Lebron autograph. I think a box sold on ebay for 15,000 a few weeks ago.

Enjoy these videos. Much appreciated, However, I'm a newb at the card hobby, but been around a long time and loved cards and sports as a child. Did the card hobby then. But after a long career doing Uncle Sam's business, I'm now doing the card hobby a bit more seriously as I have the time. My question is, I noticed the narrator (and others I have seen in other videos), fingers the new cards quite often. Shuffling into piles and sleeving those that are potentially valuable. But the oils on fingers are a real concern I would think. Especially on chrome-type surfaces. Fingering them, and then sleeving right after guarantees the oils to harden and potentially affect/degrade card, etc., IMO. Am I wrong? I only touch new and old cards on the edges and use white cotton gloves on occasion. If I am correct, the TPG's, which I'm getting ready to send my first cards to, I believe use Blacklight/UV light to check for fingerprints and other anomalies invisible to the naked eye? Was just curious if that is even an issue. Anyway, thx for any info. Take care.
When you get your cards graded, you should look into AGS. They are a new competitor that uses AI to grade cards. I think AI is the future so you should look into them more.

@@robglobal1 its ok, not a total loss, apparently I also busted lots of 2012 football wax and for some reason I can't remember, I never sold any of the Russell Wilsons. Must've been too busy selling Lucks and RG IIIs. I found over 60 various Russell Wilson RC, Autos, and refractors from Chrome, Finest, Prizm, Platinum among others. All sent to PSA last month. If he keeps his play up, It's a goldmine.

What makes that box so special. How would you get all those cards in one box not saying you can and I can't not send you won't but it kind of don't match up
I also got a RPA of someone who only scores two points a game

This is why you don’t open these boxes. It’s so bad that you need a psa 10 to break even on the box. That’s a 3-4 month wait and additional cost of 20-30 dollars per card

When searching a last sold graded for raw cards in hand checking a PSA 10 as a comp is misleading. The best way is looking up a PSA 8 and going from there to get a quick ROI after grading fees. This is what’s is wrong with the hobby. The Kobe clearly has something going on with the bottom edge that can be spotted even on video and is not a PSA 10 until close examination under at least 10x mag.

Its crazy to think that that box was probably only worth $120-$250 a year or two ago.
Back in 2013 and 2014 you can find them cheaper on sale when shops try to clear out previous year inventory.
Didn't like em back then & I still don't like them. The inserts are the only good looking ones. Pumping select like Dee Brown in a dunk contest
