  • Hey folks! Here’s my first video from Uzbekistan. In this episode, I wanted to share some thoughts about shooting in exotic places and what fuels my hunger for photography.
Sorry for saying "actually" and "you know" so often!
I’ll do better next time and use a script!

I am preparing my trip to Sri Lanka and noticed that my route is based on the tourist and exotic life instead of everyday life. Everyday life is what I want to photograph and what makes me happy and what I am good at. That's why it's nice to hear your view on traveling and photography to put me back on the right track. Thanks for that.

I’m so glad you got the point of this video. I was worried about not making myself clear enough. Hope you have a nice trip in Sri Lanka.

Keep'em coming, Eduardo! Looking forward to see more photos from Uzbekistan, seems like very interesting place to shoot. I'm tired of seeing photos from India, Cuba etc...

thanks a million bud! I dont there's nothing wrong about shooting in those countries. Indeed India taught me a lot!... but I think I want my work to stand out, and choosing somewhat different locations can give it some uniqueness..... I'll focus mainly on Central Asia, Middle East and South America in the years to come.
      thanks for watching!

Thank you so much for your perspectives on this. Too many photography channels focus on gear or technical aspects, but your channel offers a great balance between the technique of your photography as well as the 'thought' behind it (such as exoticism). Many thanks for that!

Thanks a million!!! Glad you think so, don’t really want to start creating clickbait videos or gear reviews to get more views.

You've brought up some very important topics. I don't have a possibility to travel and I've been limited to photography in my city for almost 6 months. During this period of time I rediscovered my city and I learnt so much about people who live here, good (mostly) and bad. Now I'm excited for the season change, because it will transform both the locations and the people in these locations. The next time I travel I will try my best to understand the place with my photography instead of looking for exotic things.

As Ersnt has used to say: "I'm not interested in shooting new things, but seeing new things" it was something like that XD
