Well, I wouldn't be surprised if they (Nintendo) did that to the Switch 2 (since everything online says the real system is going to be released in Mar. 2025). My prediction is that the Switch 2's Nintendo Switch Online is going to be released in 2026. So until the end of 2025, new Nintendo 64 titles (like the original Super Smash Bros for N64) may still be added. I mean "The original Super Smash Bros for N64 still has a chance".

Something tells me Cosmo Gang was chosen instead of Pac-Attack solely because Ms. Pac-Man is in the background of the High Score screen. While it’s great that the game made it on the service in the first place, it’s still very sad if that theory actually IS the case.

I don't mind the weird games coming to switch online. It helps with game preservation. Anyone wondering why certain games are not coming to the service, it's because it's up to the developer/publisher if they want their games to be playable this way. That's why the Final Fantasy SNES games aren't on here for example. Square doesn't want them to be playable this way when you could buy their pixel remasters

PLEASE NINTENDO RELEASE A NEW DONKEY KONG COUNTRY GAME.

Is this the first ever Namco game on NSO? Namco, do the right thing and put Pac Man 2: The New Adventures on NSO. The world needs to experience it again. The world wasn't ready but we're ready now.
In terms of Namco we've already gotten Dig Dug II, Mappy-Land, Mystery Castle / Tower of Babel and Super Tennis (tell me if I missed any these are the ones I remember off the top of my head)
IMO the NES Battletoads & Double Dragon is by far the best feeling, punchiest sounding and visually impressive (for the hardware of course) version, hope that comes out some day! 😁
We’re getting more 64 games later this month (that or GBA games). This is the batch for the base tier of NSO. Expansion Pack games almost always release separately.
Just like July, we got NES, but the big dogs for that month were the GBA games, The Legendary Starfy. I think we're getting something either N64 or GBA related this month as well.

Namco probably simply wants you to pay for the Pac-Man version instead. They haven’t added any Pac-Man games to the NSO apps.

In terms of Namco we've already gotten Dig Dug II, Mappy-Land, Mystery Castle / Tower of Babel and Super Tennis (tell me if I missed any these are the ones I remember off the top of my head)

IMO the NES Battletoads & Double Dragon is by far the best feeling, punchiest sounding and visually impressive (for the hardware of course) version, hope that comes out some day! 😁
I was expecting more N64 games, but Nintendo says "later" but in reality, it's a toll to get more N64 games to announced or none.
We’re getting more 64 games later this month (that or GBA games). This is the batch for the base tier of NSO. Expansion Pack games almost always release separately.
Just like July, we got NES, but the big dogs for that month were the GBA games, The Legendary Starfy.
I think we're getting something either N64 or GBA related this month as well.
