It's easy to be blown away by your photos and locations but the lightheartedness and sincerity in your videos keeps me coming back more than anything. You guys are great.
Wow what a surreal landscape …..love love love we saw the stacks many years back never realized the cliffs were there …had five kids with us camping and listening all-nighter to the 48 ft tides licking the shorelines….heaven
Absolutely breathtaking, and some of the most beautiful areas of Nova Scotia. If I were 20 years younger, I would be there as soon as the plane would get me there. I will need to envision through your images !
book titles, volume one: "chasing the light" volume two: "puckered ever so slightly" you reminded me of my street photography, when I changed shooting locations it takes me several months to learn the location and start taking good photos again, it's lovely you're taking cracking work after moving so soon.
Excellent video double bill today. Was wondering when the next HT update was coming and you exceeded expectations. Can’t wait for more Fundy images in the future. Looks mesmerising and makes me want to go to NS.
Awesome shots with the fog rolling in the Bay. I hope you do get to go back there soon. Amanda's expressions when you were talking to Michael are priceless. By the way, I watched his video and he did put a link in the description below 😊
The beginning drone footage and music choice were outstanding. As were the images, well done. I too have a fear of heights, ok more like a terror of heights so I am not sure I could have gotten out on that cliff. Glad you did not die. Looking forward to more shots from this location.
I do look forward to these videos. How fun. But I look forward most to what happens after you say “here’s the shot”…and I literally gasp at how beautifully you’ve captured God’s magnificent beauty.
I bought this in Dec 2019 to work with a few photo friends of mine and then Covid 19 hit, our trip to Crater Lake got kiboched , and now I’m laughing and embarrassed as I haven’t watched it yet ! Great reminder as it’s time to get out , and as Steve Winwood sings , make it snappy !loved seeing Michael again - you have such a great group of guys together and such talent and passion . PS : Wedding update needed :) If all of your photographer friends are in the wedding , I work for chocolate 🍫 and I have experience shooting quicker than 1/4 second :)
I've seen some pretty awesome drone footage of this spot but congratulations on taking it up a notch higher. Awesome stuff Amanda 🤣 just assuming Gavin gave you the controls this time!
That shot at 11:35 is stunning! Love your channel, Gavin, after finding it later than others I follow. Thanks for the laughs on top of the beautiful scenery and helpful content, such a unique channel!
i spent 13 weeks at cornwallis NS(just off the bay of fundy) , years ago in basic training. and the number one rule in NS, is don't believe the forecasts, and if you don't like the weather.. wait 20 minutes and it will change.
Almost threw the remote at the Tv when we heard the Tim Horton's hate! best coffee ever. Those shots off the cliffs of the bay with the birds were fantastic.
The view at 5min in is classic , reminds me of the Faroe Islands. Perhaps you will have to invite Michael Shainblum out to visit you; he could sleep in the basement of the church and eat spiders!
Unbelievable drone footage and the soundtrack to go along! Don't know if it's possible to do justice to the location even with such "trenzmiqua" images.
Now you’ve mentioned that you owe money I’ve recommended your channel to a couple of friends of mine and I feel that I should be compensated for my troubles. So as you always put it. GET IN TOUCH.
good fun, again, but apart from the amusement, you do give me ideas, composition ideas, and so I am double grateful for your channel and content. got the book, enjoyed it immensely too.
Creepy reflection in the rear window at 13:10 had me doing a double take. Excited to see what you make of this location in the future 'cause it's a BEAUT.
What an amazing location! I knew the tidal range of the Bay of Fundy was huge, I didn’t realise the coastline was so beautiful or that you could get a waterfall/cascade in the ocean.
Finally! they have returned!, this is gonna be a good one ! Grabbing a beer and checking my bank account so could buy some of your prints Mr Hardcastle 😎 Many regards from Sweden/Finland
@@fototripper Yepp! got a few in mind that would fit my living room wall & hallway 😇 And as usual, keep doing what you're doing, we all highly appreciate it.
Aaaah, I suffer from vertigo and even watching you on a cliff edge gives me the willies. I had to fast forward to terra firma. But I bet it was a great shoot. Luckily you lived!
Awesome video man, drone footage is spectacular. That fog rolling in over the area was the special touch to make the footage jaw dropping. Yes there is a way to get down to the beach and it is not difficult but getting out in time is the real problem. Most of the problem is on the walk back to the entry point to the beach, it is a bit long and the tide here in Fundy can be trouble no matter how fast you think you can walk or run even with the "appropriate footwear" My wife moved also from Vancouver to Nova Scotia and I took her to this place (just before the entrance , not the end of the park) to watch the sunset on our first date. A year late I proposed her at a place that has this view from the distance. Phenomenal video man, great job. Cheers.
My favorite place in the world! About 1 km back from the split a path takes you down to the beach (with the help of a rope). Catch the tide going out and you have an easy 6 hours to hike out to the base and back. Last I was there, there was a tunnel that goes from one side of the split to the other. Also, the cliffs are 400 ft (we measured them in a school trip many eons ago).
Jeez and I was worried about exaggerating! Which side in the path? The South side? I did see a trail vanish low into the woods but I thought it might be for people dropping bush niggets as there were lots of used shit tickets there.
"was it a 10stop" absolute gold !!!! Omg that drone footage is hollywood worthy ! But the images are second to none ! what a fantastic place. Tell Amanda she,l be grand the brain is tricked into thinking that your 3times higher than you are ( maybe watch some cliff diving videos before the next tripto calm the nerves!) 😁
What a fantastic place! Thanks for showing it - what a great location for shooting and exploration... I could spend there many days in a different seasons just exploring and looking for the compositions in that area. I am inspired! Thanks... going now out with my camera to shoot - not so amazing location, but Norway has also quite a lot to offer. Cheers!
